Nothing game changing here really - Adobe Premiere Pro’s current versions incorporate a lot of the transcript ideas already and as for the artificial voices they are still terrible and robotic- would put viewers off in anything. Opus gets closest to what I would call the real AI video editing-something that makes decisions on the actual picture content of the video and makes its own decisions as to what to show but still very basic. What we need is software that can auto cut interviews including using appropriate cut aways and to condense and make sense of the audio content all by itself. So really you’ve reviewed a bunch of lame so called video editing software that isn’t really editing software

i had the same issue but i believe it was because previously Cap Cut was only useable on mobile phone and now they just recently made it available to the MAC and PC computer praise GOD!
Great video, but I've tried a lot of these and they make a lot of errors. I'm finding I have to basically go through all the footage again to confirm its good, and that takes about as much time as making the cuts myself? Am I missing something?

One does get an uneasy feeling from this avalanche of progress though. I tried installing Gling on my laptop and the file doesn't even open. Also contacted them by email (that I dug up out of their terms page or something like that since they didn't have any contact for) and the email just bounced back. Just seems very startup to me like a company that won't be there when you need them. But yeah, I'd be willing to try the software, but can never install the darn thing after trying several times over the past month. Am I the only one with this issue??

Hey Justin...I've played with Capcut a bit. I'm impressed with the basic version for for short form social media, but not sure it's worth having a 2nd NLE on my desktop. When/how often are you firing up Capcut instead of FCPX at this point?
there is one thing that I would suggest to you because I don't know who to turn to and I am not familiar with companies that deal with the production and development of AI tools, What we need is, and it's easy for those who deal with it to make such an AI, they need to make an AI that will do the sound rehearsal itself. Why pay soung guy if AI can do it. The technician puts the microphones together and connects the cables, and then the AI "tunes" the band to sound the way it should sound. This is a program that would be given some parameters, what is a good sound and what needs to be done on which instrument, which frequency to kill and which to add, simple. The program would be sold a lot because there are very few good audio engineers and this tool would be useful all over the world. Just imagine how many people today need a sound engineer but you can't find one, and those who apply for the job don't really know how to do the job properly. Therefore, if you know or are referred to someone who is involved in the production of AI tools, please suggest it to them, THANK YOU!

great video. However, my Norton antivirus had a meltdown when I downloaded and installed Gling - very concerning. I work in IT, (30 years) and I know sometimes these are false alarms but windows defender seems 'nervous' even before norton got a look. Did you get any warnings? Anyone else get red flags with Gling?
Appreciate your videos. I am trying to find an AI tool I remember coming across before in one of your YT videos. It is a video editing tool for changing portions of the recorded transcripts (using text). Imagine one of your videos where in the 1 min 20 sec, you want to change a few words or a full sentence you spoke. You enter the new text you want and the AI will make the changes and re-render the video, including generate a new video portion of you speaking and delivering the new text in consistent with the other recorded segments. sorry to say, but most of it just does not work. I have windows 8.1 and at least 2 does not work Gling and Adobe require Win 10. But all was clear only after installation. Adobe noise cancelling feature is way too expensive for such an ugly service, the web interface is slow, the browser freezes. No way I gonna pay 40 USD/mo for such software

Just a question for you and the community following you. I was wondering is there any AI tool that can make a demo reel but from original videos. I have some videos a dozen that would like to edit to create a dynamic demo reel. Just a fast edit, no effects whatsoever. Just to help me out edit faster and bring new ideas. Like I upload the dozen videos and maybe say that I want a 1min30s video of them.

On some of these and after letting the tools upgrade the audio, the audio seems to not stay in sync with the lips so it's "off". Or is it just me...
