That was an excellent overview. A lot of tonal variety. Both clean and distorted sound fantastic!
Man that warwick combination is beastly!
That tone is T H I C C
Great job on an excellent product review. I just bought a Microtubes 900 v2. Slightly different animal, and great in it's own right. Love that bass collection, too-especially that purple Dinger.
damn I like his style. and this was a well done demo it needs more traction
Those dolphin basses are sik!!
Awsome features
Thank you. I just got this amp and was dying for a video like this
Ibra Jimenez are you happy with it? I am saving up for one
@@sjean4870 it's the best amp I've ever had. Couldn't ask for more .
Can you guys please do the same kind of video for the Microtubes 900 V2?? I'm dying to get one of those!
Delightful as usual
Thx very mutch for this awesome review/guide chris.
This is awesome thanks for this video!
I'm looking for the same type of video for the Microtubes 900 v2! I just got one myself and I'm still messing around with dialing it in.
how do you get the blue light setting?
Do the eq lights change the color when switching the channels? At the beginning of the video they are blue, then red. Greets
You have to use the super intelligent foot switch or a MIDI controller to engage Omega mode for the blue lights in the DG suite software, like the mod control in the AO Ultra pedal
@@ChrisKollias Cheers for this dude! Am planning to get this bass head and a Darkglass DG410 cabinet as part of rebuilding my rig. Really enjoyed this demo and am definitely sold on getting the Alpha Omega 900
@@chrishampton1981 Cheers man!
@@ChrisKollias Got the bass head yesterday and it's fantastic
I just got mine today and this may be a silly question but I notice the EQ faders are mostly red and sometimes blue. Any significance between the two? Different modes?
Blue means its muted. Hope you learned that by now lol.
@@danterosales9392See vid @0:45 second. Led blue and sound in on. No mute!
What strap are you using, Chris?
Ergo Straps!
The problem with all these demo videos is its a direct line in, not what the amp sounds through a cabinet.
Yeah the impulse responses don’t produce any sound through an actual cabinet and that isn’t listed anywhere online which is a huge bust in my opinion.
Jessie Bagz the IRs are meant to replicate a cabinet. That‘s why you don‘t want IR in your signal path once you‘re using an actual cabinet
if you watched the entire video, you'd have heard the sound through a real cab
