I know many of the comments are one year ago but… Sven and Olaf were both lucky in another sense that they didn’t end up getting “Frozen” due to the fate of the Titanic. Instead, they ended up somewhere else… still not Frozen but they do work in a cold region.
Lol. That's what I was thinking. I know those names from Frozen.
Olaf and Sven are lucky ones who lost of a poker game but their lives are saved when Titanic was sank. I guess Olaf owes Sven an Apology for punching him in the face
I wonder what they where thinking when they found out that titanic sank..
Lmao I just realized Olaf/Sven from Frozen 💀
These names inspire Frozen Disney. 😱😱
@@ofeliavenalainen6645 nothing. they are actors lol.
Reminds me of frozen
The irony is that Sven's stupidity saved both their lives, and Olaf's reaction probably did a U-turn 5 days later.
Jack didn't know that this was actually his death sentence but he never regretted it though. While he and Rose were waiting for the lifeboats to comeback as they floated in the cold, dark ocean after Titanic sank, he tells her that winning this poker game was still the best thing that ever happened to his life because he met Rose.
Edit: It's February 10, 2023, I'm gonna go watch Titanic tomorrow in Imax during the limited re-release this Valentines. After Avatar: Way of Water, we got Titanic. Two James Cameron movies in two months. What a treat.

Jack literally saved the lives of these two guys as well as rose 😂
He saved them in every way a man can be saved.

@@andyvaie - What does that mean?

There is actually a real life story about the Titanic, where two brothers were supposed to get on board and they had the tickets but the one brother got drunk that day/night before and wandered off so the other brother went looking for him. Then Titanic left without them and at first the sober brother was really angry at his brother but then was so grateful and realized how lucky they were when he heard the ship had sank.
What were their names if you happen to know?
They were three brothers Alfred, Bertranm and Thomas Slade, there was one more person who was with them they missed the ship by a few minutes, in relation to the film it would be just after Moody had let Fabrizio and Jack on board. There was loads of men waiting for work and the ones who replaced them all perished in the sinking
They should make a movie about the other two luckiest guys. I think they would laugh a lot when they reminded Jack and Fabrizio, ironically. And later of the day the guy who was punched should say “hey I saved you” to the tall guy.
Not the luckiest .The un luckiest.
Great movie. Pierced through my

I would agree, but Jack had never changed his opinion. He thought he was lucky till the very end.

Yes, considering he was a fictional character created solely for this purpose, then yes he did.
No he was American in another country. Debunked. Plus he spent time in Paris. Traveled the world drawing what he saw by working on steamers.
sometimes that's a better way to do life...
I've seen this when I was little, I've seen it in Spanish, my mother language. I am living now already 15 years in Italy and that vaffanculo and figlio di puttana just got through my heart. I love you Italy!
For those of you thinking "Why the hell is the gap between the gangplank and the ship so wide? They could easily fall!", the ship was just minutes away from departure so they were in the process of pushing her from the dock.
Holy shit you just won the eternal prize for captain obvious of all time and defeated all the award winners before you. Congratulations! I bow to you sir.

The luckiest loose for Olaf and Sven I'll bet they were pissed off all the way until they woke up April 15 and got the newspaper and read the front page

I would've loved a scene where those swedish guys find out about the sinking and just go like "pheeeew!! 😅"
But they lost their buddies 😭

@@melissam597 Jack and Fabri's roommates were Olaf and Sven's Cousins.
Should be post-credit scene like in MCU.
Olaf definetly apologised to Sven for that punch after finding out they were actually the lucky ones
Jack is really luckiest and unluckiest person in the world 😂
This scene is partially based on a real event: a group of stokers were drinking in local pubs and got delayed, and so when they got to the dock side, they saw to their horror that the gangway had been detached from Titanic, and they could not get aboard the departing liner. Sixth officer Moody, who let Jack and Fabrizio in in this scene (and died in the disaster), decided to call on the spare crew who were always aboard at departure time in case of just such an emergency, and closed the door. The six men who were late, brothers Bert, Tom and Alf Slade, together with two stokers and a trimmer, all lived to tell the tale of how they came within 10 seconds of probably being lost on the Titanic. So in terms of the film they reach the gangway just seconds after Jack and Fabrizio, but Moody had already ordered it detached. Unfortunately that would mean that though Moody's actions in real life saved the stokers, they also unknowingly sentenced Jack and Fabrizio to death.
Those two are the luckiest guy in the world 😂
That laugh that Leo does after the guy is punched, it’s so cute
When Jack said, “Somebody’s life is about to change” I felt that 🙁😭

At least now I can reimagine this famous poker game played between Jack, Fabrizio, Olaf the snowman and Sven the reindeer; especially since Disney Emoji Blitz would premiere Titanic emojis soon enough!
And no one was…ahem…frozen.
Jack was the one who won the poker game, but Sven and Olaf were the ones who were lucky.

**After hearing the Titanic sunk**
Olaf: “Perhaps I treated you too harshly, Sven.”

That's no way to treat someone who just saved your life. 😅
Hindsight is 20/20
Everyone talking about Jack saving Rose, but nobody mentioning that Jack also saved Olaf and Sven
If you think about it, Olaf and Sven are the real winners of this poker game. They bet their tickets, Jack and Fabrizzio bet all their money, and also these 4 guys indirectly bet their lives without even knowing the true outcome days after the game. Olaf and Sven lost two tickets that could be bought again in the future, but they won their lives for the rest of their coming years!

James Cameron is the master of 3D cinematography and Titanic while it may not be the most complex is in fact his greatest achievement.
Aliens uses numbers such as 57 to convey story and character. Titanic uses colors, sets, historical landmarks and Titanic passengers in general. He couldnt show more respect to the tragedy of the Titanic than to turn it all into the ultimate in cinematic art
