Wino always just refers to his tuning as standard when he tunes a half step down.

I thought it was a standard but he was barring in a drop tuning fashion with the fifth. Barring like that in any standard still sounds cool so idk. He's known to use a bunch of different stuff
wino does that thing where he tunes the whole guitar half step down, then tunes the low D# string to A# for The Obsessed sometimes, if he is talking about Drop A I assume it is E standart with a low A instead of E so when you play a bar on lowest 2 strings it is an octave pairing, it is like derived from the pentagram tunning which is E standart with a low B instead of E but tunning that lower

His old LP was around 9lbs. Stratocaster at 7lbs is less weight and makes singing at bit easier.
