    Part 16: • Sebastian Telfair on G...
    --------
Former NBA player Sebastian Telfair detailed his professional journey, starting with his four-year contract with the Minnesota Timberwolves. He expressed his disappointment at being traded to the Clippers-despite forming close relationships with teammates-and his shock at the significant reduction in his paycheck due to Los Angeles' high taxes. Sebastian described the excitement of joining the Cleveland Cavaliers, playing beside superstars like LeBron James and Shaquille O'Neal. Recalling past teammates, he spoke on his encounters with Delonte West, a player grappling with addiction and mental health issues. Sebastian’s time in Phoenix Suns proved a double-edged sword-it was the best team he played for, but he believes his tenure there ultimately ended his career.

I disagree.. he could’ve completely shut it down by saying “no” or “I don’t know” or “not that saw or was aware of”… instead he said it’s “probably true” based on “the vibe” which means she was moving a certain way around the rest of the team for him to confidently say that ….hence he shouted her out & referenced the black Lamborghini insinuating that she was living it up

He was such a celebrity as a kid, he may have not wanted to deal with a college coach screaming at him and 11 other guys who are just as talented, trying to earn spots. He shouldve went to Louisville for 2 yrs.

Love Bassy's game. You can see his pain, but he has a bad case of revisionist history. And because Vlad doesn't do research, and clearly doesn't know sports, he allows Bassy to fabricate things that are researchable. The guy never cooked anyone in the league. The guy didn't fall out of a rotation, or get traded from team to team because he drove a Bentley or wore Louis Vuitton. They didn't take the Adidas deal, he gave it away. Bassy seems to be more caught up in the idea of setting trends than improving his jumper. Bassy is a career 39 percent shooter, doesn't matter what he drove to the gym or wore to the arena, 39 percent aint good for a pro point guard. Bassy thought the high school stuff mattered in the league; it didn't. Everyone in the league was an incredible high school player. It's sad because had he worked on his game he would probably still be in the league. But he just don't seem to get it. He has a great story, he needs to be accountable for himself and find some peace.

Perfect example on when being drafted that doesn't mean you made it yet. Just cause you get drafted that doesn't mean it's over you won you did it. It's actually just getting started. The NBA is a job you still have to perform to keep your job you have to put up numbers you don't have the job yet. It's a business it's a numbers game. Dudes like him probably came in the league unaware of what to expect an thought ok I made it I'm rich now I can buy anything I want do anything I want an spoil my friends an family. He probably didn't know he had to still work an perform to make long term money. On top of the messy things he got into off the court thinking that won't effect his career. Bas was nice man but the NBA is a different monster. You can kick ass in high school but not to many can kick ass in the NBA especially at 6'0 straight out of high school. You can be the number 1 draft pick or number 30. If you dont eventually perform an put up numbers you'll probably be out of the league in 5 years an ballin in China some where. I liked bas when he was coming up I watched him an I was rooting for him. But dam business is business the league want's to see numbers, numbers don't lie.
