I imagine agent 8 playing this when it’s raining. The memories of Deepsea Metro still haunt her, but she learned to accept what happened and to let go. She’s begun to collect memories from her past, and is still very curious to find out more. She’s begun to make friends with Agent 3, but is still scared of her after all that happened. All she knows is that things will keep getting better after this.

So funny story here. I originally got into Splatoon in late may. I started with the octo expansion (reverse order go brrr) and I did watch a lot of your lyric videos for the dlc. At one point I picked up the whole OST and I would listen to the synth at the end of the final cutscene over and over. Aka, the original version of this song. Back in December, when I officially started a channel, I found your videos again! I subbed and now this video is here. The Koi arc has became full circle. Thanks for the amazing content.

Why does this melody genuinely make me emotional?? Splatoon has always been kinda my “escape” from my problems and this song just sounds like I’m sitting alone looking back on all the memories
I just want to say that I've been using this song for the past 6 months to reflect on my anxiety and my feelings as well as other mental things, and it helped me improve on it. Also it actually became one of my favourite songs to play ever, it makes me nostalgic but let's me think objectively about my cognition and why my mind works the way it does as well as other things. The systems thinks you finished the task 8! Tomorrow you can move on to other tests!" Marina jumps waking Pearl up "Jeez... not so loud!" "Sorry Pearlie!" Marina giggles You passed it? You dont know really. You thought to yourself while scratching your head "Hey 8, wanna stay here with us tonight? We got an extra mattress, you could crash with us!" Pearl says while grabbing a glass of water from the small kitchen You nod in agreement "We should really go to sleep, its really late" Marina says while slowly walking away from her desk You all soon go to sleep in Pearl and Marina's shared bedroom gaining some sleep befoe going on that horrid train and entering another furiously hard test, but hey atleast you know you have both Pearl and Marina on your side... right?

Listening to this makes me relive the dreams I've had about Splatoon, I've never played Splatoon 2 and i can't play Splatoon ever since my Wii U broke, so sometimes i have these weird dreams playing these forgotten versions of Splatoon, whether that be a test fire of sorts of Splatoon 2 on Wii U, a deathmatch map on foggy skyscrappers, a cruise of sorts in Splatoon 1 advertising the next game, it's all so strange but nostalgic and most of all, so... _fun_ I'm someone who has very vivid dreams and can remember some of them for quite a while, playing all those different versions of Splatoon of sorts only to wake up is devastating, but I wouldn't want it any other way, i just love Splatoon so much and what it has done for me
I love splatoon and even know I didn't know what I was doin when I was playing splatoon 1 I still had a blast! And splatoon 2 was the first game I got on my switch and put in (besides mario odyssey) and it's my most played game on my switch right now at around 300 hours and almost at level 40 plus with splatoon 3 coming next year, it's a great time to be a splatoon fan.
