As a business owner, I think it's common to think that you can always do more. What has worked for Penji is starting with the end in mind. The thoughts of doing more will always come about, but I think if you can take the goals and break them down into micro pieces, the stress and lack of confidence in your business will continue to remain positive because you understand the main vision. The other point I loved was the "letting others make decisions" Spot on. Everything about it is spot on.
Absolutely agree! Starting with a clear end goal and breaking it into achievable steps is a powerful way to manage the urge to constantly do more. It keeps the focus on the main vision and minimizes stress. While the concept of "letting others make decisions" can enhance collaboration and strengthen the overall success of the business. Well said! 🙌
True enough! Breaking down goals into micro pieces empowers you to approach your objectives with clarity, focus, and a better chance of success. It transforms large, intimidating goals into a series of achievable steps, enhancing your overall productivity and satisfaction.
You're absolutely right! the approach of starting with the end goal in mind and breaking it down into manageable steps is a game-changer. It's like assembling a puzzle; each micro piece contributes to the bigger picture, keeping you aligned with the main vision.
I Agree! We should remain positive, one of the most damaging habits for your self-confidence is constant self-criticism. Continually finding fault with your actions, appearance, or abilities can erode your self-esteem and prevent you from embracing opportunities that come your way.
Absolutely, it's like turning a complex puzzle into a collection of manageable pieces. This approach not only simplifies the journey but also keeps the momentum going as each piece falls into place. It's incredible how such a simple shift in perspective can make such a significant difference in achieving our goals.
Adam, I enjoy and get a lot from all of your videos,
but this one hits a lot deeper
- some points for advice I can guide my clients with,
other points which are things I didn't know I didn't know about myself... 🙏
Much appreciated
Hey my friend thanks for letting me know, I'm really glad you enjoyed it and found it helpful!
Thank you for you videos, you've become one of my mentors in the marketing arena. I appreciate it 🙏
Thanks Edwin, I appreciate the kind words and am glad you're enjoying the videos!
This video is underrated
Just what we needed, so true. The people factor is paramount. We need to find allies -- those who have always believed that we can. It does a lot, that someone believes in what we do. (of course, this someone ideally is one we respect and knows enough of what we're doing) 😁
We need to surround ourselves with positive people that also want to achieve excellence the right way. Like swords sharpening each other.
Thanks Joes! Hope the weather in Rome is improving!
100% Alicia!
You are great 💯
An anecdote on boundaries: I had a friend who would make plans with me a week in advance and then cancel an hour before. She did this multiple times until I drew a boundary and said, we can make “maybe” plans and if we’re both free that day, we’ll hang out. But I’m not clearing my schedule on that day because you’ve shown that you typically don’t follow through. She was LIVID.
When someone reacts with anger to you respectfully setting a boundary, that’s a huge red flag. Whether it’s in your personal life or with clients. If you let them push past your boundaries, you’ll end up regretting it.
Thanks for sharing!
Fantastic! I am going to show this to my kids.
Awesome Tracy!
Hats off to you, Adam, for consistently delivering such high-quality content!
Thanks Matt!!
Adam, this video hit me right in the feels. 😔🎯 I won't lie, it made me tear up a bit. It's like you were describing my own journey with those bad habits that used to consume me. Your words resonate deeply, reminding me of the journey I've embarked upon to transform my self-image and boost my confidence. It's not easy, but your video gives me the courage to keep pushing forward. Thank you for your raw honesty and insightful guidance. Your videos truly make a difference, and I can't wait to see the positive change unfold. 💪🏾🔥
Hey my friend thanks so much for sharing that. I appreciate it and glad you found the video helpful!
It's great to hear how Penji's approach has been effective in maintaining a positive perspective. Breaking down goals into micro tasks makes a lot of sense. I'm curious, how do you manage the balance between focusing on the micro tasks while still keeping the bigger vision in sight? Also, regarding "letting others make decisions," do you have any insights on how this has impacted the team's dynamics and decision-making process? Your thoughts are truly insightful!
These hit hard to the core lol. Thank you, Adam.
Thanks my friend :) Glad it made an impact!
One of your best videos❤
