I worked for years for a vascular surgeon who operated on AAA and dissected aneurysms 20% is not even close (to what my doc would say)- maybe 2/3% chance w a partially dissected aneurysm to if treated within 10-15 min
I am glad you talked about this. My bf is 57 and he is very fit and then he noticed he was out of breath and struggling up the stairs, a couple of times he fainted on his own, the 3rd time he collapsed on the top deck of a bus (of all places, hard to wedge him out!), he refused to get the ambulance so he took an Uber. Turns out as soon as the nurse saw his vitals with a pulse of 36 he was zoomed into Resus. within one and a half weeks he was fitted with a pacemaker and a defibrillator! He had no idea but he finally didn't ignore the warning signs.... he is now cycling again! His health is now being regularly monitored by the cardioology department. Turns out he had something called sarcoidosis and it was damaging his heart. Now he takes steriods and ct and pet cans regullarly. so he is ok and managed... but he could have died if he didn't visit the hospital. He also though he couldn't believe it either as he was fit normally and young!
Think of the ones that you called and said that you loved. Now ask yourself, did you tell them every day after that as well you love them? You said you even thought of my Father, did you bother to get on your knees and thank him? You know the answer to that. How about even today! did you reach out and say something? 🙋♂
In 1999 I had a condition, not heart related. I had a 98% chance of dying. Miraculously, I was in the 2% that survives but it would be 4 months in the hospital before I knew I might survive. It was the darkest time of my life. Glad you’re okay. God bless.
I dont want to give away the surprise in the comments section but even after they confirmed the initial diagnosis wrong... they didn't find out something else? It might not have been what you thought it was but wasn't there something else or did they just say you're AOK and walked you out? How much did all of this cost you?
800… and yes it was a nope your good keep on living…. Yes I still do have an un ruptured aortic aneurysm that is 4cm but other than that I’m fit as a fiddle.
It’s a complicated relationship but I do have a relationship and have faith. Couldn’t live without it. I believe in a lot of things that aren’t normally accepted but are biblically accepted.

Wow!! I talked to someone who said the CT with contrast having a fluke at that exact spot is about the odds of winning the lotto…..
Wow what a relief, I’m glad you’re still here with us!
Us too!

You as well
When a person thinks they are dying that is a real come to Jesus moment. Glad it was just a false alarm. Thanks for posting.
I think it was a soft slap recalibration moment. Didn’t break me down but definitely made me rethink a lot.
Glad your still living!!!
I think this is the beginning of living rather than existing.
You can walk all day , ain’t gonna matter, if you eat breakfast at the Waffle House…
Food is the number one problem
Smoothie is garbage as well 😂😂…
You’re totally right but I like my eggs after the gym.
Also they said both my plaque and my cholesterol are great for my age.

@@roombythehour when are you getting it fixed for good?
They don’t do anything till 5.5 from my understanding… surgery wise
@@roombythehour okay interesting! all the best!
20 years left! Come on
Hopefully a little more than that but hopefully 20 working years.
I don’t know how religious you are but Praise God you didn’t die that day! I would miss seeing all of your adventures!
