If you are having the steering wheel problem thats because the mod is outdated, and the new version is p2u , and can be obtained on the creators patreon. If someone finds another mod that does the same as this pls reply here.

works perfectly, in automatic, you still have to set gear up and gear down. it starts in neutral, you have to gear up to go into drive. Gear down to get back to neutral and then reverse. Also only problem I have is if my hands aint on the wheel it starts shaking violently

This makes this Manual Transmission script incompatible with that version and newer. As my priorities lie somewhere else now, the last game version this script, as of release 5.6.1, is compatible with is b3028. Please revert to b3028, or most optimally b2372 if you wish to use this script, otherwise you should remove this script as too many things won't work. I may or may not work on this script in the future, but don't hold your breath.

Hey great video ! Inspired to to install it 👌🏼 after setting it up I’ve started wondering if there are some better Force feedback settings to adjust to make it feel more ..fluent?.. idk how to explain it but trying to find some better FFB options and can’t find much support

Im using the mod with thrustmaster t150 pro and it works, but just like you, i have to "reach over" to use keyboard outside of vehicle, and its annoying to play like that... We need a alternative to move and shoot outside of car while having steering wheel infront of us.
To anyone else wondering "how its working for you and it doesn't for me", you need to downgrade (download) old version of gta 5, build 3028 or even older so this script can work.

Not sure which video you watched there but in mine I actually showed everything I did to setup my Logitech g920 steering wheel and it worked as it should (you can see that in the video). Since latest GTA update couple of weeks ago a lot of people have issues where the wheels won't turn in game. At the point of making this video up until a few weeks ago everything worked! Maybe someone will find another way to get this to work or devs will update their software eventually. Recently someone in comments mentioned that they were able to drive a motorbike even after the update. Can't test this myself because I no longer have the steering wheel.
No worries. I just got dozens of messages lately where people complain that it doesn't work without realising that there was an update that broke the software that use to work fine. Even had someone talk trash that it doesn't work the video is garbage and then they realised that they haven't plugged in the steering wheel 😅 Internet is a wild place! Peace 🤞🙏
im using thrustmaster and it says that my wheel is disconnected but on the software it respondes to everything i do to the wheel but the side buttons work but the wheel and pedals dosent
In the video I explained how to change gearbox settings. You can set them up automatic or manual. If manual then you have to assign each gear individually. All that is done on the in game menu
Are your pedals working..RPM of the engine increasing when you press gas pedal? If yes then you just have to change the mode of the gearbox. If I remember right I had the same issue and I solved it by changing the automatic mode. If I remember right there multiple automatic modes. I actually have 3 videos on this and I'm sure I covered everything in them. Can be a bit fiddly at first but once you get those settings right everything works great
@@2Fanatical Sadly i am having the same problem. Whenever i press gas all you hear is the engine of the vehicle that's about it. Everything else works fine.
@@gabecares7533 I just figured this out. in button mapping make gear up and gear down (even for automatic) I did up arrow for gear up (puts it in drive) gear down) puts it back down to neutral push it again it goes into reverse.. so even in an automatic, you still got 3 gears at least to deal with and I guess there is even park but I just hop out. use the up and down arrows on the wheel if you aint using nothing else.

Unfortunately I have noticed quite a few comments latelty saying that. Hopefully whatever the issue is it get's patched out soon. I no longer have the Logitech wheel so I can't test it again either.

The shaking wheel is a g29 problem
when i turn the stearing wheel (g29) in first person view i see the steering wheel moving but the wheels of the car doesnt move...

You'll get banned if you'll go online on the official servers for modding. You can play on certain 5M modded servers if they are still around.
