Stunning landscape, similar to the one in which I grew up, and to which I have returned. As for 'Elf n' Safety', just ignore them. These are the sort of people who voted for Blair, who didn't bring much 'elf 'n safety to Iraq and various other places. There really is no end to their evil.

Interesting recollection there Gaz.. Where I used to live in a small ( now very large) town called Kingsbridge in South Devon. There used to be a large annual summer carnival that would have up to 50 motorised floats and as many people powered floats with brass bands and majorettes, etc, etc. . Over the years, because of increasing insurance and petty admin restrictions it's been whittled away to almost nothing.
They do one in Pewsey in Wiltshire still with a large amount of floats, it's really quite something.
@@harmonicresonanceproject Well done to the people of Pewsey.. Ironically, I was born in Tidworth just a bit south of Pewsey. Lets hope the tradition is kept going and the local council don't start putting spanners in the works.
By chance yesterday we were exactly where you are! Its a regular trip out for us from Aber and a great spot it is. And that pipe line, built 120 years ago that carries the water to Brum 73 miles with no pumps - just gravity! Takes 2 or 3 days to get there too. Cheers and thanks for for the family chitchat.
Also do you know why all the reservoirs are so low? Can't be lack of rain surely!
They are working on the top dam so it’s been left to go low
Well you learn something new everyday. Nice to learn some local interest from that area, spent many happy times the ellan valley, so much so I have framed panaramic picture in my bedroom just to look at daily

Beautiful. We're privileged. I have Dartmoor very close and used to explore Exmoor when I lived in North Devon. Just outside Torquay now.
Thanks Gaz, I regularly go up there on my motorcycle,it’s really nice to know about the history of the area especially from a local lad,I can imagine the fun that was had there before the health and safety wankers put a stop to it, unfortunately it happens everywhere,well fxxk them, I’m still having fun riding my bike and popping the odd wheelie every now and then, I’m not going to stop. Ps hope you get the fast track sorted sometimes the thought of doing the job is it once you get stuck into it you’ll get get it sorted,take care mate,👍🤙.

We recently travel on that exact same road on a road trip to Beddgelert. Myself and my short legged, wire haired, white and tan Jack Russell Mooch made quite a few pit spots to take in the breath taking views .

Thought I recognised that accent used to do alot of work around welshpool and Newtown on the electric power lines some great country I used to do the trees
We got llanthony show by us it used to be similar but that safety elf stopped the wild horse rodeo!!!
