Touch screen issues with 18.0.1 have noticeably improved but I’m still getting random touch issues on my 16PM. Battery life is about what I expect but not phenomenal. Lots of room for improvement still.
@@zollotech I typically do and had one on originally. Took it off to see if it would help, prior to the update. Minimal improvement. Currently not using one. The update helped a quite a bit. Nothing to return the device about. Just that I feel whatever tweak they made, could be tweaked another….5%….if that makes sense.
My 15pm works great on 18.0.1. I did a clean update with phone reset to factory settings. No bugs, no issues, way better speed / performance compared to my old 13 pm on 17.7 (there is a big difference in speed), the only downside is that the battery is lasting only a bit lower (not a bad battery drain though, I use the phone a lot). But overall, 18.0.1 is working great on my phone. This is the fastest model of iPhone/ iOS so far for me. (98% battery life)
18.1 beta 6 on my 16 pro is working just fine, I haven’t had any issues whatsoever. Battery life is great too, this phone reminds me of my old 13 pro, still can’t get over that beast.
So over having to reboot my phone on 18.0.1. The touchscreen keeps hanging and apps can’t close. Same as my iPad. I hope they fix in 18.1. So frustrating.
No Outlook inbox widget yet in 18.1 also… Please highlight this point because lot of million users of outlook are waiting for this outlook inbox widget
One other bug is when you use the calculator and before closing you reset it, somehow when you reopen it it stays on the last calculation! Further more when you try to open a message the moment it opens to read it it returns to its closed before reading it!
Hey Aaron, I noticed a bug on iOS 18. The apps on my iPhone have Face ID enabled, but sometimes when I open an app, the Face ID requirement doesn’t appear, and other times it does.

iOS 18.1 feels like Apple lost it's way, i've been testing since day-1 but i never felt this way about an iOS ever. The overall experience just feels buggy an dclunky at some times. and it feels very heavy. i have a 15 pro max but that does now not even seem to handle this OS..
iOS 18 0.1 iPhone 15 Pro. Still have touchscreen issues from time to time. Volume automatically goes all the way down or up randomly when or after adjusting. Battery seems to hold up better and last longer by at least two hours at very best. Still issues with customizing control center with icons fading in or out or scrambling the whole screen in random fixed places takes a while to correct and also same with home screen customization. Overall I feel like it is a slightly better improvement from iOS 18.
Anyone noticing that 16 pro max brightness is lower than the 15 pro max ? Seems the display is quite dim (auto brightness off, true tune off) Even regular 15 series seems has better brightness than 16 pro max !

Many simple things like Reminders now come up in Calendar, which is something that always should should have been done unfortunately, my dog that I had to put to sleep over a year agoit came up saying give diamond her heart guard but so many simple things that just make so much sense are implemented now I’ve noticed, and I’ve left mostly everything the same
Got a weird home button bug on iPhone 11. After soft resetting device, Home Screen would be randomly displayed while in app. Stopped after restarting phone a couple times… possibly ghost touches on my screen still…

If using Bluetooth, it works fine, but then I don’t have access to maps on multimedia screen because device isn’t plugged into usb port. Lexus 2018 nx300, AT&T carrier. Interesting that a call to a Verizon person has no problem hearing caller. AT&T carrier settings are up to date. iPhone 15 Max iOS 18.0.1. CarPlay worked great when on iOS 17. This is quite puzzling. Had the car checked out by service with no answer. One can only surmise that it is an iOS 18 issue.
So, if Apple Intelligence is going to take years to rollout, then people should probably skip the iPhone 16 and wait until the iPhone 17 or 18 before they upgrade.

Ever since I got my 15 pro last year in September I keep having a bug with every iOS and I had to contact support and they asked for a log analysis upload and I am currently waiting for a reply Monday or Tuesday to see what they got. The issue is with the keyboard suggestive words which should appear right above the text because I have the suggestions disabled in settings but this is about those suggestions that appear when the text has a red underline and you go back to see why. IIt has been appearing on the top left of the screen overlapping the clock and not responding also. I don't know if it was just my phone or someone else had this issue or still might have. Now you know u should contact support because it doesn't go away with any iOS update
@@zollotech Hmm, interesting. My 15 pro freezes more often on 18.1 beta 6 than 18.1 beta 5. Especially after 20-30 min gaming sessions where the screen freezes and I cannot close the background apps. I have even rebooted by phone everyday since installing it and the issue still persists :(

A trashcan shows when deleting photos taken by this phone but the trashcan is grayed out on photos imported when transferring information to the new phone from the old phone The new Apple password app has shown the wrong password Twice Amazon Ring one time use code showed sent from one of my business contacts. So apple are cheating their customers by announcing these AI features as the major updates ever and new for iPhone 16s yet not releasing them to every country and over two years maybe so iPhone 18’s yet charging such high prices world wide. Samsung done far far better job by releasing S24 series with AI that is their top feature for selling S24 series which they delivered to their customers on release date. Unlike Apple, bragging about AI with name changing to "Apple Intelligence" as top selling feature for iPhone 16 series with iOS 18 ( released with integration of AI) being out since june & won't be fully available even after iOS 18.1 & what they claimed in WWDC June event won't be available untill iPhone 17 series. Apple have become from innovative to money lusty company operating on Safe Mode sees other company & then implement onto themselves.😊
Seriously though. iOS has smoothness has been terrible since at least iOS 16. And so so so many bugs never gets fixed. Bugs on top of bugs just keeps on piling instead. I really don't trust that Apple will fix anything in the near future. The code in iOS has become too messed up over the years. It will require too much effort and time to fix at this point. Apple probably needs to take a whole year off to fix several years worth of bad coding. But we all know that will never happen. Apple "needs" to keep pushing out new features at any cost! Even at the cost of long term OS stability and longevity.
@@Dr904 True man. It’s not like they are making too crazy changes in ios versions. They should skip the update for one year work on it and release a smooth and optimized ios upgrade. Why should people wait for 18.4 or 18.5 for things to get optimized. The first time the ios version is released it should be stable and optimized from the beginning.

Yes, it seems like my 2.5 year old 13 Pro Max with 89% battery life did better than the new 16 Pro Max. Very strange.
18.1 public beta 3 is great on 15PM. It’s very smooth and fast. Battery seems great too but haven’t pay much attention to it

This is not great battery back-up. This is pretty bad. My iPhone 15 has to be plugged in twice daily with minimal usage on 18.1 Beta 6

When your air pods are connected go into your ringtone settings and try sliding the volume rocker in there

13 Pro Max battery is trash
It can take one to two weeks for it to finish processing in the background. After that, it seems to increase battery life quite a bit.
