If you’re going down the T.I. rabbit hole you need to start with the Urban Legend album. U don’t know me, ASAP, Bring Em Out, Motivation, and Tha King. Then the Paper Trail album.
from a pure rapping standpoint.. TI is 5 times the rapper Kanye is.. ain't alotta people that can ride a beat like TI back in the day.. That's the rubber band man ... wild as the Taliban... #Barz
This just made me realise that age is just a number & we’re all the same. I was 15 when this came out, I’m 31 now, still bopping to this, and you’re 70 & bopping to this❤❤❤
Kanye, Jay z, lil Wayne, and TI did a sing together called "swagger like mine" ft M.I.A. several years ago. The performed it live at the 2009 Grammys you should watch it.
Ti is definitely a better rapper than Kanye. He is severely underrated. He could go up against just about anybody in a versus and win. He's got so many bangers and he can spit too
he isnt a better rapper then kayne yes t.i had bangers but kayne has more banger and more reach then like almost anyone if not anyone well not anymore but still he has a impact on the entire world is wild
@Doingtrackcausewhynot Kanye is whack both on and off the mic. Never enjoyed his music plus how can you defend someone who did a song like I love it with whoever that mumble wrapper was...
This was a massive hit song back in the day, he did his damn thing, speaking as a positive black man, you love to see it, and brandon is right, you grow up rich and try to thug? what part of the game is that?
I remember buying that album and hearing for first time .Justin was on a roll and was hot .clever put him on this song.that last chorus Justin did was similar to a gospel song talking about north south east and west
TI is actually a great dad. He stopped trapping years ago when his son was still in Elementary school and showed all his kids how they should be living so what his son does is not on TI. He's had many talks with him even showing him where it could lead. King has made his own choice it's not on his parents. They gave him a life so he would never have to do the stuff TI had to do to survive. The buck stops with King himself and no one else. I can understand if TI was out here thuggin with his son then your argument would have done validity but King never witnessed any of the stuff his dad went through. It's the toxic masculinity that teaches young black males that being a man means being "hard" and "earning your stripes in the streets" is more important than earning your stripes in life. If you didn't grow up in that life, there's no excuse for you choosing that life.
Youre wrong, as a father TI is responsible for his son well being and outcome... good fathers teach their children the consequences of their decision. Instill moral fiber, and commom sense...
@@brcage yea but at the end of the day everyone has a Free Will. The dad can't just magically tap into the sons mind and control all of his Free Will decisions.
@@brcage Do you know how humans work and kids for that matter? lol you can teach them all you want but at the end of the day they make their own decisions. King is 18, all you can do as a parent is teach them right and wrong but the decisions they make is ultimately theirs. You must not have kids thinking you can control them lol And look at his other kids, not in trouble. Clearly this isn't a pattern with his kids
@@brcageif you actually read his comment you would see TI did in fact do all that, but you cannot teach someone who does not want to learn those lessons and ignores them completely. As a man who has made alot of mistakes in my life and is working on being a better person, I would NEVER put MY actions on my parents because they are just that... MY actions. My parents taught me right from wrong and I still made some mistakes in my life but that is not on them, that is on me. People need to start taking personal responsibility for their actions and stop making excuses or blaming others.
Should listen to "I stand on That" w/ e-40 and Joyner Lucas (also an artist should listen to, especially tracks with him and Em). TI killed it on that track.
Literally T.I’s own “Not Alike” like ‘em. What I mean is they are similar themes with them changing their bad habits for their family and spitting real nice.
Bro Eminem didn't respond to the game but 2 Stan's did and killit him out. Yall gotta check it out. Em dont even gotta respond, his Stan's are getting in his ass Game over! - " pull the plug " - Denace and Spencer sharp Bro yall gotta check that shit out frfr.
Please, Please, Please do "Where Is The Love" by the Black Eyed Peas. I know you guys have probably heard it, but you need to read that song. Dead and Gone & Where Is the Love are the two most influential songs i've ever heard in my life. Everyone in the world needs to go back and listen to what the Blacked Eyed Peas said nearly 20 years ago in that song because it's so much more relevant today than ever before. Please give it a listen.
I love your reactions and conversations. Love the discussion and your willingness to dive into somewhat difficult conversations. I tend to agree with the gentleman on the "east" (our left). 🤣 Thank you for sharing!
"Born Rich and you trying to be a gangster" I hear you. Let's drip this yung buck out of his comfort suite. Man I am tired of young bucks hurting the movement
I’m checking out your reactions from the Netherlands and I like that you’re trying out all sorts of stuff, can I make some suggestions? My first one would be Stromae. He’s a Belgian artist with Rwandan roots. His songs make you want to dance, but there is always a hidden message there. Every one of his videos is a piece of art, and he launched his own clothing line, called Mosaert. I just know you’ll love everything about this guy, he’s so insanely creative and unique! Now, you could watch anything by him, but I would say a great song (and video) to start with is Ta fête. Enjoy 😉 Oh, and for comedy I think you might like British comedian James Acaster talking about the British Museum (and about Britain colonising half of the planet), not sure if you ever checked that out? I look forward to seeing you check both of them out (if you haven’t already), and if you guys like them, I’ll be happy to share some more tips!

@Jooniper56 Don't say that. Thats depressing. 😢
Paper Trail is a classic! Justin's Hook is on point same as on that Jay-Z song Holy Grail.

Some people do t understand how great TI was. Paper trail album was so fucking great. Urban legend… he really is a solidified legend.
The live performance of this hit hard. The young boys drumming on the buckets was crazy…
