  • Because Texas is so large, companies struggle to be competitive. There are so many options and some of the best companies don't show up in the rankings. In this video I'm going to go over the best car insurance companies in Texas and explain why they should be where they are.

Allstate just increased my monthly auto insurance premium by $80. Time to find a new insurance company.

Same here, I started the year at $160 a month for 2 cars, one full coverage and the other liability, today I'm paying $240. My buddy also hooked me up with the discounts when he signed me up for the insurance, they took them all away.

I’ve had USAA for the past 6 years. I became very frustrated with their new app and marketing strategy via advertising. I’ve noticed my Premiums increase. I pay 2000 for three vehicles in Alaska for 6months. Two are paid off one 04 Silverado, one 06 Jeep Wrangler. One financed 21 Tacoma. I did a Geico quote online and it was 50% less then what I’m paying now. I don’t understand why I’m paying twice as much I’ve never worked with Geico but I’m thinking of making the switch. Also I’m moving to Texas next month.

I would not use GEICO. GEICO has very poor customer service. I was in a car accident last February. My vehicle is still in the body shop. I had like 3 different collision agents, they took forever to approve the body shop estimate.

When I moved to Texas 3 years ago and I hit the road I wanted to cry. I had the worse panic attacks. And this is coming from a Jersey girl who drove all over Jersey, NY and the tristate. It's sooo bad here in San Antonio. And I think I know why. There's rarely any cops on the highway. Like I don't even know if they have state troopers lol. Mostly everyone doesn't even have car insurance or even a license. IT'S CRAZY!!! And for me Progressive is always the cheapest.

I have Allstate and I had a flat. No human to talk to as I was directed to download an AP. BTW, while I was having trouble changing my tire, the Allstate Rep tried to sell me a homeowners policy instead of addressing my needs at that time. These days I'm driving a lot less and slower, so Allstate informed me. by mail, that my rate will go up 10%. The new rate will be $300 for 6 months. That's liability, uninsured motorist and roadside assistance! Clean driving record, 2007 Infinity G35 sedan. Am I paying too much?
