That’s awesome bro. Next year I want to make it to the montana tac. I’ve been to colorado and San Antonio. Being from Texas that’s quite a ways away. But next year for sure!
I built a separate arrow for TAC knowing I would need to get max distance. My TAC arrow was an Easton sonic 6.0 300 spine with a standard insert a wrap and 3 super sabres weighing in at 415 grains. I switched mods from 75 to 65 pounds on my Mathew’s and came down from 85% to 80% let off as well. My elk arrow was an Easton procomp 250 spine with 55 grain titanium half out same vane config coming in at 505.
I’m using fmjs that weight around the same in 340 spine for elk and a 400 spine around 450 for whitetail. Those fmjs will bend though and been looking at a lighter arrow for 3D. Those Easton hexx look perfect but they discontinued them and replaced em with those sonics so I’ve been considering those exact arrows. How is the durability? That’s the only concern I’ve heard on em but the specs look perfect for a tac type arrow
😂🤣🤣🤣 fucking dying at the lift talk. “He’s gentle” lol I lost it.
Hahahaha

What was your arrow setup? Do you use a lighter arrow for tac than you would for hunting or did you roll with the same arrow for both?

I hadn’t run into any durability problems with the Sonics at all!
This is dope. Capturing the moment, not creating content.
Also, don’t you leave Mathew’s 😂
Appreciate you bro!!
