- I face off against Travis Johnson on the 2023 Tennessee Total Archery Challenge Prime course. Hes won the 111 yard truck shot twice in the last 5 years.
The results were surprising... to say the least.
Has anybody else noticed just how good a lot of people are becoming an archery I mean really damn good shots good form all the way around fundamentals of archery man we really got to give a big shout-out to people like John Dudley or George Riles Chris Bee
The wind and rain was tough on your arrow flight.... It was tough day 2 of TAC Texas.

The target after the moose, it was deceptive, if you didn't use your binos it looked like a clear shot to the vitals...except there were layers of branches in the way. Tight shot.

this was my first TAC and it was a great time we shot all the courses only destroyed 2 arrows and i also hit that same tree....
So, I believe it’s apparent those vanes Travis is using aren’t working so well. Bummer deal. Or something else is going on with his bow? Still, it sure looks like you fellas had a great day. Enjoyed the video etc. 👍👍👀👀
Small surface area + vanes for forward can make for a so so arrow build... the only good thing is he break a significantly better shot then most guys.
Are you running the hunter hybrid rest? How do you like it? I got the epsilon and the clearance is a pain with the cable guide is it tight with that rest?

Those vanes flew really bad. I don't know how he shot as well as he did.
It was one really bad arrow, but.. he is making some changes.
GOOD SHOOT I've seen Travis many times with Chris Bee, do they still hang out? I though he had to be a good shot to shoot with Chris AND HE IS The missies are what I call "just keeping real"

I think it is funny that you Brandon mocks Travis for using worn equipment. If anything it should show that equipment does not really make the difference.
