I would actually like this addition to Disney canon or even the old Legends canon. Tales of the Force should be a Disney+ series. Luke: "So, Leia got to live a life of royalty and luxury, like you. I think there could be an interesting one where Luke & Leia encounter Shmi's "ghost". Luke may have heard some about her growing up since he grew up on the Lars homestead and was raised by Shmi's son-in-law.
Probably the a journal Shmi kept and Leia sees it, hearing of Anakin's childhood and his goodness toward others. Kind of a callback to the Expanded Universe.
