Good afternoon guys another epic Faroe island video I am enthralled by these islands and views I know you said the meals were expensive so when you can you cook your own can’t wait til next Airbnb looks charming take care see you next time😘🌸🌼
Wonderful fjords and lakes and waterfalls, but I suppose it won't get warm enough for a swim! You both bundled up for the cold, but of course it is early May in the film. Beautiful place, some points look a bit like Iceland it seems. Looking forward to the grass cottage!
You can just imagine Viking ships hiding in that deep gorge harbor. I loved the tale of the Giant and the Witch. Such beings from ancient folklore were rarely limited by morality, lol. The footprint of mankind in on these islands is so different than most places...just a single road (quite well maintained, I must say) to each tiny village. That waterfall is magical! I loved how you gave us distance views to understand the scale, and then terrific close ups. I could feel the spray! Your suppers looked fantastic! We had breakfasts like that on our trip to Germany. They were tasty, but as a Southern California native, I was often frustrated by the lack of fresh fruit, even in June. You must use a drone for some of your most dramatic shots; do you ever have problems taking it along when you fly to your destination? I'm excited about this next boat ride! Cheers 'til next week. :)
great video series, i actually really enjoyed the roadtrip vibes and exterior shots of the car driving, seeing a bit more than just the typical faroe stuff, villages and hikes.
Quick question - how do they heat the houses? No trees so coal? turf? Most have chimneys though electric would probably be likely. Lol told myself not to be lazy and checked it out and it totally makes sense - "Since 2008 the usage of ground source heat pumps has increased on the islands and today over 1000 ground source heat pumps utilizing shallow geothermal heat are operating and producing energy for the Faroese homes." The blue water so clear and beautiful, I love these remote beautiful islands. Thanks again =-).
Superb series chaps. My wife and I just love the way you put us wherever you go. The scenery is great. Is that farmed fishing going on in the harbour. Thanks. Its a long way from Australia
The meal looked wonderful, but I wonder how much it would cost in Cornwall, say - at a famous eatery ? I imagine the people being very independent & hardy - I don't think I could survive without trees - but is probably even more dramatic live! Thanks for being so Adventurous!
I visited family in Sweden and I asked what the poles each side of the road were for ,its for the snow,so you know where the side of the road is! frightening!
If you're attempting to make a professional video about a country, out of respect, you really need to make sure you're pronouncing the place names correctly. Gjogv was not even remotely correctly pronounced at all.
We do the best we can and research it. I gave up worrying about that a long time ago. We give all our videos a great deal of respect and research I’m not going to try and master very language of the world.

Hard to believe places like the Faroe Islands still exist in this hard boiled world. Thanks again for taking us along..
Its almost other-worldly,the clouds,the openness,the tiny villages.
Agree, was like no where we had been before 😊
But hardly any trees to be seen.
@@redmi9834 yes due to the weather systems in the area, trees do not fair well on the islands.
Thank you for another relaxing and inspiring journey to another land!❤🇺🇸❤️🇺🇸❤️🇺🇸❤️🇺🇸❤️
Stunning place, excellent presentation.
Glad you enjoyed it
Thanks for another fantastic video!!
It's so beautiful
Lovely islands , love the story of the merman
The beautiful scenery and vistas are amazing, you are so lucky to have seen it firsthand. Thank you for sharing this natural wonderland with us.
What an incredibly beautiful place. However, I was amazed that there are no trees on the islands. Quaint little villages and gorgeous scenery.
Due to the wild weather, they have planted some in populated areas but nothing indigenous.
@@MemorySeekers Fascinating! Thanks for the reason why there are no trees.
I’ve got to watch video 3 I’m on holiday so I catch up when I can to see your lovely videos

Wunderschön!👍
Дякую вам за відео. Пейзажи просто приголомшливі! Але жити там, скоріш за все люди, які звикли до таких погоди, віддаленості.
Beautiful. Equal to any TV travel series.
Probably surpasses other travel series as it's not rushed with quick speech and trying to cram in many places in an episode.
Thank you 😊
It's so beautiful ! 👍👍👍❤️
Breathtaking views.
Indeed!

Looks very remote, but lovely

Maravilhoso ❤

It's a good question, I would image at Rick Steins it probably would be a similar price for two people.
You visit some wonderful places.❤
We try and make the most of our holidays 😊
What is going on? You two are
Doing amazing work. Thanks.
💐👍🏻❤🤩🥰🌻
So beautiful. It's hard to believe such horrors go on there.
👏👍😍
I visited family in Sweden and I asked what the poles each side of the road were for ,its for the snow,so you know where the side of the road is! frightening!
First the Seal Woman and then the Merman - Faroese fishermen sure do love kidnapping 😳 lol.
😂
Funningur was according the Icelandic Saga's, Færeyinga Saga, the place where the first Vikings settled.
Thank you for sharing
Stunning scenery looks like the pennines on steroids
Haha indeed
Lovely video. WIll visit the Faroes in a month. What time of year was your trip?
We visited from 1st of May for a week. Have a great time! Wonderful place.
🎩⚘👍🥰
Paradis...
I would appreciate enormously if you give the prices also in euros 😍
Give or take a few cents the euro price is the about the same as gbp on any given day. Very little difference but noted all the same 😊
what time of the year did you guys go there ?
May
I have heard about this land about its single all year round rainy season. Is it true?
They have seasons, but it does rain alot!
No locals in the video. Where are the 50 inhabitants?
Gjogv - pronounced jegv.
I tried to report the spam for you but it seems immune to it.
I got it thanks 👍

Haya. I could easily get lost & escape into my imagination being there, truly wonderful. Thanku so much for sharing 🙂🙂
