I'm ordering one now thanks to you, at the end of the day, for me, if this removes chrloine and flouride, it's a game changer! Who knew these two things were sooo toxic! UGH! thank you!
Have you done any lab testing for the under counter clearly filtered system? I'd love to see the results compared to the water pitcher (which I remember you stating increased some minerals).
@@waterfilterguru oh, thank you! I'm concerned about the sodium increasing. That's so strange. I contacted Clearly Filtered and they stated they don't use any potassium or sodium substrates/materials in their filters. They basically don't know why sodium would increase. I have a 6 year old and wonder if the sodium and potassium amounts are a little high for the family. Ugh :/
@@ViolettaSur-r1t Sounds like the customer service or sales rep you spoke with doesn't know what they are talking about. The data from my testing clearly indicates that there is a sodium/ potassium loaded ion exchange resin in the filters that exchanges sodium/potassium ions for calcium and magnesium ions. Keep in mind sodium and potassium are both essential nutrients for human health - there typically isn't a health concern, unless you are on a low sodium diet
@@waterfilterguruyes, I too request you test the iSpring UV and alkaline system (RCC7AK-UV). I’m curious if the whole alkaline thing is legit or just a marketing ploy.
Is this filter system good for city water? I’m in a transition home until mine is done be built and don’t want to storm a ton on whole home system yet. This looks good but curious on city water
If it is connected to the cold water line... only the cold water is filtered? If I fill my glass with warm water it will partially filtered, only the cold part of it?
Reverse osmosis provides thorough purification, but will also remove any healthy/ beneficial minerals as well due to the process. You can check out our G3 P800 review here: ruclips.net/video/HHjSxI9XAWQ/видео.html The flow rate of this CF filter is fine - no impact. Of course, this is dependent on the incoming water pressure as well,
Unfortunately not, you would need to manually keep track (calendar reminder in your phone) and replace the filters based on the manufacturer's recommended timeframe.
We've not tested any of those refillable water delivery jugs yet, but I'm fairly certain that most of those companies purify the water using reverse osmosis, which is one of the most thorough filtration processes. That said, filtering your own water at home (whether with this unit or an RO) will always be more cost effective over the long term.
Hi, Could you give us a comparison between the two filtration systems from Waterdrop (TSA Under-Sink Water Filter System, 3 stages of High Capacity Water Filtration, NSF/ANSI 42 certified) and FRIZZLIFE (TW10 Under-Sink Water Filter System, NSF/ANSI 53 and 42 certified components). Many thanks to
Has anyone tried to connect this directly with their refrigerator water line since Clearly Filtered has been out of stock of their inline fridge filter for sometime
My regular tap water TDS meter score: 229. With this filter, 170. Reverse osmosis water, 3. I understand that this filter still leaves some of the non toxic minerals in the water, but I don’t think it’s good enough. What did you get when you compare it with your regular tap water? Thanks.
Hey there, so measuring TDS isnt necessarily the best way to determine if a filter is performing correctly (aside from RO systems). As you yourself mentioned, in this case this filter retains healthy minerals (such as calcium and magnesium). These healthy minerals will cause the TDS reading to be higher, since TDS is a measurement of the total dissolved solids in the water (not just the bad stuff, but the good stuff too) Therefore if you are only looking at TDS reduction, it might appear that this filter isn't performing well when in reality it actually is doing what it's supposed to. If you want to get a true measurement of the performance and contaminant reduction of the filter, I suggest you do a before/after water test and compare the results. Hope this helps!
@@waterfilterguru As a long time operator of industrial ultrapure water plants, I concur with you. TDS doesn't tell the story for a filter system. I was always taught that very low TDS water from an RO and Anion/Cation resin beds is not good for you because it leaches minerals out of your system. Also according to the sample data I looked up this is probably the best under the sink on the market.
Please test the iSpring 7 stage UV and alkaline system (RCC7AK-UV). I’m curious if the whole alkaline thing is legit or just a marketing ploy. Also, can you actually do a water test to test for contaminants? It’d be awesome if you could test the iSpring and the Clearly Filtered water side by side.

Yeah, it really just depends on the space available for the specific situation. Make sure to take measurements before buying any under sink filter! You want enough room to easily change the filters too

Would it be fairly easy to install a UV filter at the end of this?

It shouldn't be much different from the influent water, if at all

isnt a sep tap better as when you wash up, you are using the filter?
It depends, for some, the fact that all the cold water is filtered (even water used for washing dishes) could be a drawback actually
