A walking tour of Cornell's Central to North campus - see the sights and sounds of the campus. Ithaca is a pretty area, not to mention the university grounds, get to know where the dorms are in relation to the rest of campus. And see a delightful gorge!

You need to have a real walk around campus when it's 15 degrees and it's blowing 20-25mph. You need those mounds of dirty snow for the real NY experience.

'one'? Let's say that nature wise, it is THE most beautiful. And architecturally, considering Ithaca as well, top ten. Architecturally Yale and Princeton, UVA and Dartmouth also stand out. As well as perhaps Berkeley and Stanford.

Class of '92 here. It's crazy how many building have been added to North Campus since I graduated. There has even been a bunch of buildings added since my last visit to campus in 2014. When I was there, there was nothing but a big lawn between Dickson/Donlon and Helen Newman. Back then, the only dorm/union/dining/gym buildings north of Fall Creek were Risley, Balch, Dickson, Donlon, Helen Newman, High Rise 1 ( now Jameson ), High Rise 5, the Low Rises, Robert Purcell, and the Town Houses.

Too quiet. I need a "WE ARE!!!" and a "PENN STATE!!!" or else I can't sleep at night.
(3:40) $83,196 per year per student for 21,904 students...and we can't put in some curbs?

In the winter is it slippery? And I know there alot of homeless camps near by can anyone come on campus? How far is the walk from dorms to eating halls? Is it a good school to study to be a astrophysicist?

It’ll be slippery sometimes if they haven’t already salted the roads and sidewalks. Only places I’ve slipped was when walking where it’s closed off and my front door.
Anyone can come on campus but campus is on top of a massive hill. You’re unlikely to see a homeless person unless they’re a student. Not sure about dining halls, but I believe most are in the dorms themselves? Other eating places are on campus and may be a 10-15 min walk. I don’t know about astrophysics, but the physical science and space science buildings are right next to each other.
