The control tower radio is very weak, hardly heard like 10-15mile on a tuned received antenna and elevated location overlooking SA. Also tried on my mobile , like 2-3miles away.. towel signal is fluctuating. maybe someone should check their setup. been listening like 10yrs now.. no changes, different radio receiver. my 2 cents.
