I was there last night. What an amazing performance! Celine is a legend. 2 hours passed by so quickly. We thoroughly enjoyed her concert. Beautiful and enchanting from start to finish. All favorite songs were performed.
The most consistent powerhouse vocalist in music! Such a queen.If only she'd grace the grammy awards stage this year, everyone will be blown away by her divine presence and voice.
The greatest versions of Love can move mountains are from 2004 on World Music Awards when she recived Diamond Award and from 2005 on Live 8 when she improvised a lot.
Interesting you feel that way, me personally those are the very worst. Her performances with LCMM have never been quite the same as when it was first released in 1992. As early as 1994 in olympia you can already hear certain belts dodged. Tcoml concert 1993 and a few of the 1992 ones are my favorite with more of the album adlibs attempted in a chestier voice. Almost no single performances is perfect. The closest is 1992 festival that was broadcast on tv, the ameriquest one. But the bridge has one bum note. The performances from 94-03 were not bad. I like opening night 2003 (the bootleg not the tv special) as it almost seems like she listened to the song prior as many notes were attempted for the first time in years there (and never again afterwards). From 04-09 the song has become dreadfully terrible. From 2011 on the shortening of it has cleaned up how messy she was getting with it.
@@Tcottong I agree. The last good performance was the Millennium Concert. She dropped LCMM from the Quebec CIty and Ottawa concert; I was hoping it would stay that way lol. The song needs a rest.
@@Tcottong I generally didn’t care for her performances of this song from 2003 through 2009. The majority of the ones from taking chances world tour were so lazy in my opinion. Seem like she avoided almost all the high notes in some of those.

I totally agree about lcmm. To me the very last great performance of lcmm was disney special 93. Everything beginning with olympia 94 is full of note avoidance.
I wish this video was longer..her face after finishing The Prayer..LOL! Ok, so she forgot the lyrics..who cares?? Her singing was absolutely beeeeautiful. But i knew she would roll her eyes and look so "embarrassed". I want to hear what she says to the audience. :o)

Is the prayer in original key ? I think that’s the reason why she is not doing it in a duet with andrea Bocelli this time, because it is not in the original key. Anyway Celine did an amazing job wit this version, she does not stop sorprising me.
I am pretty sure the ONLY time it was original key was the Oscar's. The other few performances: World children's day, cbs special 08, tcwt, central park, and vegas hologram were all lowered as was the 2015 performance. I think most were -1 but i think she also did -2 for awhile. Someone else can probably elaborate better.
Coming back and watching these early tour performances just exacerbates how stiff and rigid the later tour performances got... like how she’d go onto the arms at the stages sides for literally what? Two songs? And the rest of the show she doesn’t go near them.... the wired mic being the biggest cause, similarly how the wired mic, despite being her preferred type, really really limits her movements... makes me question why she even bothered with the arms at the sides when she rarely ever used them again after the wired mic came back
@@alexbodi5526 she moves as in she walks and dances in like one area, but the stage for this show is massive and has two arms going out into the crowd which allow her to get close to them, as well as a section further up with her band. For basically all of the shows where she changed back to the wired mic, she’d end up just performing on the tiny bit of stage right at the front of it, completely ignoring the whole reason the stage has the arms and the other areas that allow her to interact with the band
Her mixing has gotten so good as the time passed by, she reaches those super high notes with such ease, dear God. And "The Prayer" was so beautiful.

Doesn’t she still move around a lot though? I’m totally blind, but when I saw her, mom made it sound like she was constantly moving.
