    Short handles are better because they prioritise more of the racket towards the end (hitting zone).allows there to be more space for a nice long neck. It's actually very good Wilson is doing this. Prince are excellent at doing this. I use Phantom 97P for precisely this reason.

    • @tantennis
      @tantennis  Год назад +1

      I don’t feel that way. My hands don’t fit on the handle. And my 2HBH backhand on Wilson Blade and Pro Staff is never been as good compared to on many other rackets like Yonex, Head, and Babolat.

      @@tantennis I've seen your BH in your vids.... your grip is too high anyway bro. You need to hold the racket as low as possible to utilise as much of the weight as possible. First do that and then see how it feels. proper BH grip should be held all the way at the bottom with the pinky finger barely on the buttcap and the other hand snug tight against the bottom hand. Hi, I want to choose a 100 size racket between Pro Staff X, Speed Mp and Gravity Mp. I don't really care about power as I can create a lot of power. What I do care about is spin, hand feedback and directionality. I like the clear hand feedback of the Pro Staff X, but I don't know what the pros and cons of Speed and Gravity are compared to it.
    Could you please give me some advice? I really appreciate it.

    • @tantennis
      @tantennis  Год назад +1

      Speed MP is a well-round racket. You get a little bit of everything. I would label it as a control tweener racket. Spin is good and it’s quite maneuverable. Cons are erratic stringbed. You can spray the ball long from time to time.
      Gravity MP is a baseliner racket. Soft and plush, great feel, very forgiving. Can generate good power from baseline effortlessly. Cons are stability. Racket face twist and flip when handle heavy balls. Tried customized it and it’s still unstable. Spin is not good on this frame.

      Basically, I just can’t get topspin from v13 100 at all. It felt like the ball goes off the string bed too early. I also don’t feel like it has pro staff characteristics that much. On the X, spin is wow. Control is like PS97 with extra power. And it feels more like a pro staff than v13 100.

If you want more, buy a new grip and extend it up, or have someone else do it. You can also do it with overgrip. I just recommend doing it yourself instead of being irritated.
