Thanks. I haven’t finished it yet. All the body panels are made but no finishing work to make it look nice. I hope to get to it later this year and then I’ll do a follow up.
This looks awesome, can't wait to see more. Really hoping you decide to sell the files, I just bought your Kenny bundle and I'd love to build it into a heavy wrecker.
Thank you. I’ve finished the design but am still in the process of assembling everything. I’ll be sure to make a video showing it finished when I get there.
@@BuildItBetter3Dyour truck looks awesome. Im going to design a mobile crane and i see some of your designs i can use. Have you made some more progress you are willing to share?
Good luck on your project. A mobile crane would be cool. I’ve finished the design but haven’t finished putting the truck together yet. I’ll post a final video when it’s complete.
Great work, converting my triple axel grand hauler into the same thing, I've been running into problems with the main boom if you decide to sell the files let me know id like to get the 2 boom designs from you, building i'm a rock star designing for 3d print not so much.
This is incredible, I've just started making something similar myself. My biggest question is how did you make the outrigger feet descend and ascend in to and away from the outrigger arms? I was thinking hydraulics for myself but mechanically would probably be a little bit easier
I made actuators using n20 geared motors and sone end stops. They’re driven by an esc. The case was 3D printed. You could also use the little 12volt linear actuators you find online, nice thing with those is they already have limit switches so you don’t have to wire your own.
Really awesome build I was wondering if you're going to be selling this anytime soon I used to drive a heavy duty wrecker before having a stroke I have already purchased the tamaya kit that I'm going to use to build this truck and would like to test out your files to build a wrecker
@@BuildItBetter3D I really hope you do share these files as they could really help me with my build I have suffered a stroke and I have a lot of issues with trying to design stuff on my own I have to rely on other people to do my 3d prints basically just wanted to let you know that there are people out there that really appreciate it when you do share your builds thank you for your time
Are you going to be putting these files up on your website for sale? I really hope so it's such an awesome build I am currently building my own RC wrecker hoping to have it ready by October for a truck show event in Ontario CA. Anyways thank you for all your posting it helps me stay motivated as I said I've suffered a stroke in the past and it with a lot of issues and people like you make me wanna stay involved in the hobby. Again thank you
hello sir , how do you conect the main dump lift motor to the esc , ? it's only a +and - off the motor , how can I conect to my esc ? I made a similar set up for my trailer ramps , I have a motor installed, but I can't get it to work off my esc , please help sir 🙏
Nice work, very inspiring! I'm building a rc crawler recovery vehicle and was looking for some ideas. I'm curious, how many channels did you end up using?
@@BuildItBetter3D That's what I thought... Every new idea I have for a feature comes with maybe 1, mostly 2 and sometimes even 3 more channels I would need ... Will there be a follow up vid? I'd like to see how it's going!
I need to get back to it. The truck is functional but I haven’t done any of the finish work on the body yet. My snowmobile projects have taken over. I would like to finish the truck and do another video showing it all.
A micro limit switch and a diode on each end. With the diode when hitting the switch it will stop in that direction but still allow for direction to be reversed.
They are designed for my Skeeter frame, so would probably take a fair bit of modification to go onto another frame. I’m not in a position to sell them right now though.
Thanks so much for your support. I’m still trying to decide if I will be releasing the files for the wrecker. I’ve been dealing with a lot of file theft/sharing. It’s hard to release something that was so much work when a few dishonest people will pirate it. It’s very frustrating, since I really enjoy seeing people build my projects.
They give a little but are holding up well. Could be machined out of metal for more rigidity, however cost would go up substantially. I can lift a load that will balance everything on one side, nearly tipping the truck over, and they hold up just fine.
Very well done. I will be watching to see what you decide to offer. A heavy wrecker is on my project list.
Thank you!
It be so sweet to see a kit like this built out out aluminum.
Would love to see a follow up episode on this, to see how it looks finished :P
Thanks. I haven’t finished it yet. All the body panels are made but no finishing work to make it look nice. I hope to get to it later this year and then I’ll do a follow up.
You've got some really great things going on with your product..so very realistic..
Thank you.

This is some real engineering, I love your work, and you have just received a new subscriber🇯🇲👍🏾
Awesome! Thanks 😊
Wow can’t wait to see this unit come together amazing 🤙
Thanks! Me too 😁
Very nice construction thum up
Thank you!
Very impressive my friend. Looks great👍👍
Thank you!
Really nice job
Thanks
Quad steer would definitely improve the steering. It's awesome!
Would love to see a new update video just found you awesome work!
Thanks. It got put on the back burner but I’m hoping to finish it this year.
We need updates on this !! Am very interested
Thanks, I’m hoping to finish it this year. I’ll put up a video when I do.
Hello great work on this build 👍
Thank you
You do really nice work. Im going to be building them semi soon. Will files for wrecker
Thank you.
Tremendo trabajo excelente saludos desde Puerto Rico
NICEE !!!!!!! I hope you sell the 3D files so I can make me one...
Thanks, I am considering selling the files. Haven’t made up my mind yet if I want to sell files or just complete trucks.
Nice build, hoping you're going to sell complete kits
Thanks. I am planning to offer that option.

Are you making outriggers for ladder fire trucks? For sale?
Impressive 👍
Thanks
Awesome awesome
That is awesome man are you going to be selling the kit or not
Thank you! I am considering selling built ones, or maybe all the parts to build one. I’m still not sure if selling the files is worth the risk though.

I used brushed motor and brushed esc. A brushed motor only has + and - so you need a brushed esc. Brushless motor and esc have three wires.
Nice work, very inspiring! I'm building a rc crawler recovery vehicle and was looking for some ideas. I'm curious, how many channels did you end up using?
Thank you. I’m using all 10 channels that my Flysky has. I could use 19 channels, to make it work with less I had to double up things.

Amazing job, how did you make the limit switches?
A micro limit switch and a diode on each end. With the diode when hitting the switch it will stop in that direction but still allow for direction to be reversed.
Pls need the model the wrecker
I’m trying to get it organized enough to share. It’s a very complicated build.
If you were to take out the front rear axle so there were only three axles in the back it would probably turn a lot better
Yes, I’m sure it would. This is a build for a client and they want the 4 axles.
How much would it cost to buy one of your underlifts or your boom set up?
They are designed for my Skeeter frame, so would probably take a fair bit of modification to go onto another frame. I’m not in a position to sell them right now though.
So COOL!!! 😎😎😎😎
Thank you!
Do you plan on adding these files to your "My Mini Factory"?
I have not decided yet. I’m afraid the price I would need to charge to make it worth it is more than anyone would be willing to pay.
I love 😍💯👍
Thanks
Hey when u gonna release the files ..already have the kW bundle

Please sell the files or parts or a kit
I am considering it.
have you finished this yet?
Sandy I have not. Hopefully I can get to it next year.
hey man did you finish the wrecker
Not yet, hope to eventually.
Hey what's the progress on the wrecker
Are u going to sell the files
Yes, I probably will. It is a big and complex build, so it’s not for the faint of heart. They won’t be available for a while though.
Ok love to get the files
way to flimmsy bro them satble arms see them bend with no load . ahahah
They give a little but are holding up well. Could be machined out of metal for more rigidity, however cost would go up substantially. I can lift a load that will balance everything on one side, nearly tipping the truck over, and they hold up just fine.
I would really like to buy these files from you I can sell you the money and you could email them to me if that's okay I would really appreciate it
