A patient approach makes this level a lot easier than it is normally.
I snipe the enemies ahead, blocking the route of the convoy, then I actually join the truck full of friendlies. I let Alpha and Charlie Teams do some damage, whilst I focus on taking out any enemies within sight, but more importantly, the helicopter.
Once the helicopter is destroyed, I jump out of the truck before the objective and start sniping. Alpha Two (lone survivor) seems to do quite well, so I take over from there. I let the friendlies go in first, then go in after them to sweep the buildings.

I am pretty sure if they changed the name of the gun, it is for copyright reasons
