Thanks! I have been using that mic off camera for voice overs, but with the talking head clips in this one, used it on camera. Of all my mics it is the ONLY one that sounds that good in the garage, it is really really good at not picking up reverberations/echos - and the garage is super echo-y! I experimented with different mic placements to try to record the sound off camera but couldn’t get good results. Would need massive sound treatment to the garage. Genuinely a very cool product and the fact they piggyback on expression system is brilliant. Stern can do code updates, update EL and the speakers just fall right in line, because they are well... in line. I don't have any pins with EL but I would do this when/if I get pins with them.
I REALLY dig your videos-you’ve helped me make more than a few decisions on my pins, and I think this channel deserves way more attention. 🤷♂️👌
