Tip: For the killing chamber of the spawner you can also use warped or crimson trapdoors and fences for those who have fire tick on.

@@ABest-gl5sq I would just stick with crimson and warped fences because you would need quite a lot of iron for that. But you can do what you want it's your world not mine.

Magma cubes are actualy very deadly, I was renovating a treasure room bastion as well and stoppong them from spawning cost me 4 lives and 4 elytras, my friend died as well

I play on Bedrock, but the magma cubes don't seem that dangerous. On my new 1.16 survival world I found a ruined portal at spawn and was able to get into nether like 5 minutes into the world. Anyways I managed to raid the bastion with only stone tools. (Solo)
The spawner was right beside a bridge which made it easy to break.
Then just pick them off one by one. As goes for the piglins. I took them all out from an elevated position.
It's really not hard you just have to not rush in. I also was using gold armour which I found from the chests but it didn't really matter because I weren't taking damage.
I also usually go for the treasure last.

@@alanbielecki6406 No enemies are particularly dangerous on Bedrock. Bedrock still uses the old combat mechanics so you can just spam attack. They do have a faster and more aggressive jump on Bedrock when they split to smaller cubes.
I love the thing of Pixlriffs that 170 levels are now like 15 levels for him.

Have some zombie pigmen and rename them: security guard. They will scare off the piglins. Maybe the can have uniforms (dyed armor)
Or alternatively place sould torches at eye height at every entrance

Hey Pixlriffs! I was thinking that it might be a cool idea to maybe add a brewing stand and a little patch of nether wart down there by the magma cube farm, then you can maybe call it the fire resistance factory! :D
Even though you can get fire resistance from piglins, i thought i would be a cool idea.

Hey @Pixlriffs. Great video as always! I used Honey blocks in my design to keep the Magma cubes from jumping. It works great.
i was struggling all weekend trying to figure out how to make a magma cube farm with the spawner, thanks pix!
It’s similar to a slime farm, just replace the magma block area with a kill chamber.
(Because magma cubes don’t take fire damage.)
I was it was a simple idea but my hang up was how to create a floor that wouldn’t spawn piglins or zombie pigmen and take up the mob cap. I guess since with spawner, the mobs spawn in mid air, you could use half slabs. But his basalt floor doesn’t seem to spawn anything so maybe it’s not needed.

To stop magma cubes from hitting you in the afk chamber, put trapdoors against the hoppers to create a perfectly sized gap

Might be good to cover the lava with crimson trap doors. It looks good too.
Pix! To increase the speed of the lava pushers, maybe put 3 sources on each side instead of 1, meaning it pushes them straight into the pit instead of the wall.
Wouldn't that make a pool?

I like the idea of using the crimson nylium as red carpet. Looks quite cozy. Also loving the new 1.16 walls. You can also use fences and glass panes seamlessly with walls now which is nice. Sadly doors are not connected to walls.

Well if you don't have fire spreads of in your world you can just use the warped/crimson as well.
a little tip - if you have fire tick turned on you can still use warped or crimson trapdoors as they can’t burn
If you have FireTick turned on, you could probably use warped and crimson wood for the fence gates and trapdoors since they don't burn.
Since the game always checks the large magma cube bounding box, even when spawning small ones, the layer right above the spawner is the only one necessary to prevent all magma cube spawns. If you build this spawner farm yourself, remove the spawn protection from the bottom, or only have the layer right above the spawner in the first place.

Next big project: take down all four types of bastion and rebuild them in different places in the overworld. Add custom ruined portals around them.
If you put a torch under a pathway block and cover it up the pathway block submits lighting
Hey pix, could you have used honey blocks on the floor of the drop chute so they wouldn't jump out? Or does their bounce counter the Honey's stickiness? A nice addition to that is that you'd still only need hoppers below because of the honey hitbox. :D I'm loving this consistency
Even with fire spread on just use the new woods they are fireproof! Just try using them in a furnance as fuel!
Very interesting way of making the farm. I do wonder if there is a way to full automate it so I don't need to use it as a killing chamber.

Wow that is a pretty good farm his elytra got better really quickly that farm is really efficient although I do wonder if you ca. Make this farm in bedrock edition or if there even are magma spawners in bedrock edition at all.

Hey Pix, you should make the spawning area 11 by 11, because the larger cubes require a 3*3 horizontal area to spawn.
There needs to be a way to make a magma cube spawner + frogs to farm those new ftog lights. It would probably require the player to attack the magma cubes to the small size then the cubes would fall into a room covered with hoppers and frogs. I think I'll start trying to design something like this.

Instead of trying around with fences for the golem, you can also use the nether wood trap doors which don’t burn

For the trapdoors, if you have fire tick as true use nether wood (crimson wood ect) for the trapdoors because it cant set fire
