Awesome!! Two decidedly different approaches to running a course! Glad to see them all being tossed around like they're supposed to be!
u can see the car drifting by the angle on the passenger a pillar at 2:19😀. My favorite driver 👍From one GA boy to another
Is that THE Bill Elliott? Wow, awesome!
He's run that Boss 302 for several years. Supposedly the engine is slightly "upgraded" by Ernie - clearly it pulls like a scalded mule - but they do have pretty tight rules on what you can do to the cars in these Vintage events
Just the thrill FUCKING GIVERNER right to the floor and the sound LOVE IT ! CHEERS
He makes it look easy. Great control!
Sounds so amazing ❤️
Now imagine that in 1970??? When they had the Trans-Am class. Bill raced at the old 5 miles of Sebring. With only 2 drivers
Would love to see his footwork.
Aparently he doen't need to heel-and-toe, clutch just to put gear up, you can see at the end of the main straight.
Looks like it’s got an auto rev-match feature added in, not that he needs it (remember the old foot pedal cams from Sears Point??)
I just noticed at the 1:18 mark where he does tap the throttle while downshifting. Doesn't seem to do it all the time but he does do it.
