Thanks, I frequently write about round the world flights, but I wasn't aware of this one!
It's amazing what you discover on old VHS tapes 🙂
50 to 1 out of 26m wingspan. How things have moved on you can get that out of 18m these days and 850km is just a normal day out in peak season.
My first attempt at 3 hours was in a vintage Kookaburra, it would have been much easier in one of these :-)
@@Alex-ok7mg I did my silver duration in a K8 and distance and height in an Olymia 2b with a clockwork barograph
massive vertical tail this glider has.
