This is the best review of the tuscon that I have seen, a full depth review for once, my mind is made up Ultimate trim or n line. Thanks for the great video.
Great review. I would say a normal persons review. I have listen to several motoring journalist reviews, so boring and nit picking. Like your straight forward review, covering features and drive, of modernist car, what will suit all ages. My wife and I have just traded in our 2.5 year old Audi Q5 , as we were so impressed with the Tuscon on test drive. We purchased Tuscon N Line S 230 Hybrid version just yesterday. Thanks Alexander.
Nice review, but this is a strange config for a Tucson. Never saw a new Tucson without handles for flipping the seats in the back. An N line on a MHEV seems odd too. If you want a sporty feel, get the HEV. Gives you a completely redone cluster around the gear shifts. I have never seen buttons for heated seats etc so far back. With the HEV they are in front of the gear shift buttons. Btw, if you take out the little piece of plastic in the back corner of the boot you CAN store that hood underneath. And you forgot about the reclining back seats. And the handy blind spot monitor, if that is included on the model you tested.
Found this video from RUclips shorts and with no regret. This video touched on some stuff that a lot of other reviewers did not. The bonnet is really a little on the heavier side. Altogether, though, Hyundai is notch with features.
Dear AJ Just seen your Demo on the Tucson N line I have got one, 21 plate mild hybrid, I have seen alot of videos about this car & all the Presenters talk crap except you. Watching your Demo I learned a few things, have you tried reading the Handbook? all its good for is the bin, For value for money its good, I'm retired I have had then all BMW, Jags Audi etc this car beats them all. Thank You AJ Dan MacSweeney
I have the exact same model/version, it's one of the best vehicles i've owned. I was unfortunate though at 2 months old it was smashed into by a hit and run driver whilst it was parked up and took 3 months to get it repaired and back to me due to the global shortage of spares.
I so enjoyed your video, AJ. Top notch! I recently received Hyundai Tucson "Highlander" variant, named here in Australia and my family and I love it. Can't wait to drive it to the Gold Coast and around Victoria Your fan from Sydney, Australia!
Tucson are popular in Australia. We get a FWD Petrol 2l , a 1.6 T-Gdi & a 2.0 Diesel which accounts for the majority of Tucson Sales here. The Hyundai Blue Link Plus 2 is a great system. Fully connected to the Net & an absolute bonus in being able to find parking, fuel, restaurants, book n pay , OTA updates , Diagnostic & remote services , Web surfing etc
My 2022 Tucson NX4E Hybrid has space for the parcel blind underneath the boot. Really handy indeed. Mine also has levers at the side of the boot for flattening the back car seats as well. Surprise to learn these are not standard feature for Tucson.
Mice vdeo, although on my Hyundai Tucson 22 plate there are levers in the back to operate putting the seats down and there is a dedicated space under the floor to store the parcel shelf so I’m not sure why this doesn’t happen on your car but it certainly does on my hybrid
Also with the pure petrol engine, you do have a designated space below the boot floor to put the blind in. I'm not sure how this model doesn't have those. Maybe it's different in the UK?
I’m getting shadow grey ‘N Line S’ in the facelift version……really great looking car. Never really cared for the interior of this version, I think the dash was just too fussy, but the facelift is much better. Just another 4 weeks to wait.
Order all most the same. 48V MHEV 1.6 TGDi 180 7DCT N-Line S tech pack Auto AWD dark night metallic since July 2021 still waiting, over one year last delivery update December which will make it 1 year and 6 months. I hoping I get for Christmas. Love your review👍
Sorry, I'm a little confused is the car you are driving the 230hp self-charging hybrid? the talk of full, mild, and plug-in hybrid was a little confusing, overall though a very well-put-together and comprehensive review.
Your breakdown is classy and perfect, I have placed an order for the plug in hybrid phantom black with milk tea color leather. The plug in comes with full option . I have subscribed to your channel. Hope to see a video for the plug-in hybrid electric. Thanks for sharing.
N line S only lacks the heated rear seats and the cooled front seats. Plus, the wing mirror cameras that show in the dash when you indicate. Premium is not worth the extra money.
@@paulsanders9584 you might be getting confused between premium and ultimate. Premium is 2nd lowest and gives best value for money (way cheaper then N line S) ultimate has the cooling seats etc
I agree the Tucson is a good looker from the outside, however I went for the Sportage GTLine-S HEV as the interior and tech is far superior. Still, both cars are a great buy!
Cars eh...love them, hate them or just use them as A-B transport. Have to say i like this car, why? Because its different, even a little quirky, I like the creases, the lights, the interior, had a Mazda for the last 4 years, its a good car, but had problems with it, waiting on Mazda to fix it, thinking I'm going to change to the Tuscon.
I really like this SUV but I'd like more options for interior colors. I think this is where the Tucson falls short. I'm trying to decide between this and a Lexus NX 350. The Lexus comes with a variety of interior colors, but it comes at a price. I'd love to save that extra money and drive away with a Tucson, but the interior is rather boring in comparison.

I really enjoy this guy’s car reviews. He’s very thorough and talks real sense to those of us who aren’t overly technically minded. Good work. 👏
By far the best Hyundai Tucson review in my opinion. Well done presenter.

I like the way you deliver information

Just ordered this model in shade gray thanks for the info 👍
Pick up my Hybrid N-Line s in shimmer silver this friday. I cant wait 😊

Your fan from Sydney, Australia!
My one has seat release levers in the back so you can get on ultimate trim.
What is the color name? Amazon gray or portfolio?
In the Hybrid the parcel blind does have a space under the floor.
Brilliant video thanks
Thanks for the comment

Picking up my N-Line shadow grey in 2 months. Can't wait.
Getting the same next Saturday 😍😍😍 can not wait 😎
Is the shadow grey in this video?
@@KetoZdrowieYes, that's the Shadow Grey color.

Wait what? I just bought a 2021 Tucson and it has the quick release handles in the boot to get the back seats out of the way...
Nice vid 👍
Well presented review
When you do need to fold the rear seats , they latch , so that the floor is flat .
I agree the problem with the lever for the backseats.... but my Tucson 2023 has two handles to lower the backseats. No walking around 🙂
My 2021 even has it...
It looks like a alien
The hybrid is £37 a month more than the mild hybrid, would that be worth it in terms of fuel saving?
More power and apparently more enjoyable to drive AND better mpgs. I would say yeah
Trying to see the difference between trims the nline s and the premium ? Hyundai garage not very helpful
I found this too where I had to actually cancel an N line as it had so little included! I would only recommend a premium, N line S or ultimate.
N line S only lacks the heated rear seats and the cooled front seats. Plus, the wing mirror cameras that show in the dash when you indicate. Premium is not worth the extra money.

I like the kia sportage 2023 better than its sibling Hyundai Tucson
I agree I think the interior of the new Sportage is better but I like the Tucson from the outside
The N line is not the one to get
Wow

Wrong way round.. the trims. According to Hyundai are. SE, n-line, n-line S, premium, ultimate.
N Line S is definitely higher spec than the Premium.
