if jesus died for their sin then why some people still go to hell by the bible?
god gave numerous proofs but people choose to believe other people instead of god.god sent the first prophets to israel and they changed the torah then sent jesus pbuh and they made him a god even if the bible itself denies it if
The bible is a witness on its own changing by humans.
jesus is not God by the bible itself-
God is capable of everything right? lets assume he split himslef to three than jesus who is himslef God in flesh calls God my God Matthew 27:46 and worships God in Matthew 26:39 and even if you say that nonsense of even if jesus is God he dont make himslef equal to the father then the bible says God is not a man Numbers 23:19 and that jesus is a man 1 Timothy 2:5.
For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; the bible
god then sent mohamed pbuh with the quran where god gave clear proofs

And He set therein firm mountains over it, and He blessed it, and He ordained therein its diverse sustenance in four days, equal to those who ask.'
Then He lifted Himself to heaven when it was smoke(reffering to primordial smoke) and said to it and to the earth, "Come willingly, or unwillingly!" They said, "We come willingly."
So He determined them as seven heavens(the word for hevean is the same for sky in arabic) in two days, and revealed its commandment in every heaven.' So he means seven skies inside the earth and each has its commandment plus god answers the question did he make the earth in six days:no because in the first 2 days there were no sky so no night and morning(a day) so god means a period using the word day.

allah means arabic and in jesus language aramaic its the same word Ĕlāhā, or Alaha and pronouced the same.
plus by two verse it shows even if there were a moon god as you say who is named allah which is logical because allah means God in arabic God showed he mean God the one who made the earth in 6 days split the sea, sent jesus and they made a God out of him...
He said, "Do you worship that which you [yourselves] carve,
even though God created both you and that which you have made?"-the quran 37.95.

I BELIVEVE IN THE BIBLE AND JESUS BECAUSE I HAVE THE PROOF THE MIRACELOUS QURAN AND AT LEAST I KNOW WHAT WAS ADDED BY HUMANS AND WHAT WAS NOT.
FINALLY I WOULD LIKE TO QUOTE THE BIBLE ONLY
      GOD IS NOT A MAN.Numbers 23:19
For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus,1 Timothy 2:5.
and jesus calling GOD MY GOD AND THEN WORSHIPING HIM IN JHON 18.6
Those who say that Jesus, the son of Mary, is God, have, in fact, turned to disbelief. Jesus said to the Israelites, "Worship God, my Lord and yours. God will deprive anyone who considers anything equal to God of Paradise and his dwelling will be fire. The unjust people have no helpers."-THE GREAT QURAN.

I was a lifelong of agnostic that slowly came to Eastern orthodox christianity My mom is ethnically Jewish but was a practicing non denominational list which never really sold me. I had to go and intellectually stump on the faith and then and do some serious both the research and soul searching. I never quite had I found Jesus moment. For me it was a longing and a struggle and finding a home and still dealing with my failures but know I have the family in the church And saints to support me in my trying to become close to the Lord.
But I honestly when I went to a Eastern orthodox service the matins on Christmas Eve day I never cried so hard in my life being able to hear the divine liturgy in its beauty in English.

Wow. How true. I was baptized in the First Christian Church and soon learn that the Church of Christ and the First Christian Church were once one, but split over a disagreement about whether or not there should be music in church. Being young and often speaking before I thought, I pretty much said but that was a pretty stupid reason to split a church. The pastor seemed very offended and told me that, "Nevertheless, that was the truth!" So, it seems obvious that people can emphasize a difference to the exclusion of all commonalities. That is people. That is not God. Imperfect, fallen, indeed. Perhaps there is a deeper meaning to God referring to us as children.

Also, as a church body we cannot disagree on core essential salvational issues like the gospel: Jesus dying on the cross, how we are saved, Christs resurrection, God beinga triune God (3in1) etc. BUT we CAN disagree on secondary issues and still be saved.

I grew up (and still am) Pentecostal. I think he described the beliefs of Pentecostals quite well. As someone who has experienced some of these things first hand (speaking in tongues, divine healing, etc,) it is a powerful experience. Many people say it's emotionalism or anti-biblical, but it is absolutely real and genuine. I don't believe it was exclusively for the early church, as Acts 2:39 says "For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the LORD our God shall call."

Jesus simply asks us to share the good news of the Gospel, not discourage and divide fellow Christians by self-righteously accusing them of being unGodly, you don't have to scroll down very far on this or other Christian videos find very hateful unchristian comments attacking each other, and yes I have certainly been guilty of this in the past I can testify that it only leads to guilt and shame, instead let us love and encourage our neighbor! I'm sure everything couldn't be covered in this short video, but a decent overview of the differences in denominations. We just need to be careful that our differences don't stem from an attitude found in 1 Corinthians 1:11-12. Some differences are so stark that it limits fellowship, and at the end of the day, someone has it wrong (in terms of some doctrinal differences). We definitely need to be in agreement on the essentials, but we need to prayerfully study the differences on secondary matters and put away our pride. Psalm 119:89 says, "For ever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven." In eternity, there will be no divisions or denominations; it would be wonderful if believers could get that settled here.

    • @2timothy23
      @2timothy23 3 года назад

@R Treadwell True faith is in Jesus Christ and following the doctrines in scriptures. Notice in Acts 2:41-44 the three thousand that were saved continued in the apostles' doctrine and had fellowship. The key is studying your Bible, understanding it, and applying it, all for the glory of God. But since there are many doctrines to understand (the Bible is infinite in content), no denomination is perfect. Everyone has something wrong. In fact, we wouldn't have the New Testament epistles if every church was doing the right thing because most of those epistles are directed towards churches that were misunderstanding certain doctrines (like we do today). If they misunderstood doctrines then, we're going to misunderstand doctrines now.
If a denomination is teaching that you're saved by grace through faith in Christ alone (Ephesians 2:8-9), that are preaching the Word of God (2 Timothy 4:2), that are equipping the saints in sound doctrine for ministry/growth (Ephesians 4:11-16), and sending brethren out to proclaim the gospel (Romans 10:14-17), then it is a good starting point. You won't know how accurate a particular church is until you have sat under their preaching, checked their core set of beliefs (usually a statement of faith), and searched/study the scriptures yourself to see if it is true (the way Acts 17:11 and 2 Timothy 2:15 shows).
Denominations tend to think they are completely right about everything, but that is not true, but feel comfortable going to any church that has the essentials correct. We can't judge our faith on denominations, but how much that particular denominational church follows the scriptures. And that can't be done quickly because it takes time and discernment to know if that church is basically following doctrines or not. I know that is a quick answer, but there are so many dynamics to the question that a quick answer can only get you started. But it would be better to go into some of this then just naming a denomination and saying they have the true faith over another denomination; that would not be helpful at all.

Just read the bible asking for guidance from our Lord to show you the truth. Really really pray about it, trust me, prayer works. When you do read the bible, don't trust yourself at all! if you get stuck in a verse, look for answers online in what that scripture really means, I advise you to at least have 2-3 references. Young man, religion is useless if you come out of the church the same person as you were before you came in. Religion doesn't save nor change you, Jesus can, I've experienced it first hand when I got to learn about grace (that it's a free gift, and I don't have to work my way to receive it but by putting my faith in Jesus' death on the cross). I'm an ex-catholic, never did anything to my faith. Also, be careful of calvinism and lorship salvation, a lot of people I know that have already come out of the false teachings they teach, trust me, you don't want to get involved in those. In the bible it says the truth will set you free. If you do decide to be part of a religion ask yourself that question (are you free?) and also pay attention to the people around your church if they're christlike. Knowing/following the correct gospel of salvation is more crucial to know than following the practices of some religion. The truth exists! it answers almost everything there is to know about life. Each one's own spiritual walk is different, but I suggest you do yours with prayer so God can direct you to the correct path. Love

I thought I wanted a "non-denominational" but ended up in a Baptist church ( I was hesitant at first) - these people are so wonderful at my church.
As long as Scripture is truthfully taught in the church and the Spirit is present, you'll be blessed (and hopefully God will use you to bless others!) -- the minor differences are just that -- minor.
I mean -- we have some extremely smart elders in our church (we're currently looking for a pastor) and even the elders have disagreements on some minor things (and will preach them) but it's always done in love, and it's about the non-essentials.
On the essentials (salvation by grace, through faith, in the one and only name of our redeemer, Jesus Christ, who is God incarnate) everyone agrees. We all strive to understand the Bible as clearly as possible, knowing that there are disagreements on some things (for instance the rapture, timing of the 2nd coming, etc.) It's all good and gives us stuff to lovingly debate, while worshipping God as truthfully as possible from Scripture on the things He's very clear about!

I was aware ot Landmarkism and avoided the subject, never teaching against it or for it. This would only have caused strife in the body. However, a few guys came in and really began pushing THAT and not Christ. Landmark ideology divides in a most horrible way. Any theology that divides Christians from fellowship is not biblical...period.
There are other denominations that exalt Christ, preach the truth, and bring unity among believers. A Landmark Baptist is very closely related to Catholicism in its positioning. They are the true Bride of Christ. They are the true church formed by Christ himself. In other areas, they are fairly solid. The church I attended was not evangelical. They had no desire to reach out to the community. Little to no corporate prayer and a great lack of Biblical knowledge, but this would describe the majority of Protestant Churches.

@Scout First, it’s awesome that you have decided to follow Jesus 😊. Welcome, friend!!! The most important thing to know is that the Bible is right. Every denominational teaching should be examined against the scriptures.
When Christianity first began on the day of Pentecost, the men gathered asked the Apostles a simple question: What shall we do? Peter gave them a simple answer: Repent and be baptized every one of you in the Name of Jesus Christ for the remission (removal) of sins and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Now, I’m Acts 2:1, Acts 10 and Acts 19 we see repeatedly that the Holy Ghost came with a sign of tongues. Jesus also in Mark 16:16-17 said one of the signs that would follow believers was to speak in tongues. It’s a heavenly prayer language that is available to every believer.
Now, Paul said in his letter to gentile believers not to believe any other Gospel than what was preached back then. So, we know that this is the doctrine we should continue to follow today, okay dear one? The Lord loves you and knows your heart for Him.
Be baptized (it can be anywhere, even a beach or public pool or tub). It MUST be in the Name of Jesus. Remember, Colossians 3 tells us that In Jesus dwelt all the fullness of the Godhead bodily so His Name is the Name of the titles that are Father, Son and Holy Ghost. Jesus has many titles, but one Name.
And when you surrender to Him in prayer, you will be filled to overflowing with His Spirit and speak in other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance

But I can tell you one thing for sure! Not all of you are going to be happy when Jesus comes back. He’s going to show you how much you guys have been arguing over things that you can’t prove and not paying attention to the general concepts of the Bible! I’ll make it really easy for you all to understand with an equation: Choice + Intention = Judgement. There seems to be a lot of talking going on and not a lot of doing! The fact is: Christianity is not a religion! It is a relationship!! It has nothing to do with rituals of any kind! That is the liberty that a born again believer has in Christ. If one is truly "born again" he understands why so much confusion! It is simply because the focus is on "what I can do" rather than "what Jesus Christ has already done". He died on the Cross for anyone who will humble accept His sacrifice as payment for sin! That fact changes everything,! Anyone today "whosoever will" shall be saved! True worship is not in a building made with hands; it is in Spirit and Truth! The Holy Spirit and the Truth of God's Holy Word! God will not bless our human efforts to please Him. He is pleased because we honor Him for what He has done; and then He works through us in the form of the Holy Spirit! I just have to say, "God is not the author of confusion'! If confusion exist, it is because, we are listening to a wrong voice! He Spirit brings peace; of mind and body!

Protestants are all unified in the one cause.. of "Protesting" the Catholic Church. They constantly divide like children who have runaway and are left to raise themselves. Without the knowledge, wisdom and authority of the Catholic Church they will continue to divide themselves based on their own personal whims and interpretation of the Holy Scriptures, Scriptures made possible by the Catholic Church. Simply Google where the Bible came from and you can see. Martin Luther and subsequent Protestant leaders have been twisting the Bible for their own purposes for hundreds of years; of course that would result in fractions.

  • @RhenishHelm
    @RhenishHelm 4 года назад +4

Good video, but there are a couple more distinctions that would help explain the different Protestant denominations:
First, the distinction between Calvinist and Arminian Soteriology.
Second, how services are conducted under the Normative and Regulative Principles of Worship: formal liturgy, traditional hymns, contemporary praise bands, etc., and how the Principles' hermeneutic extends to use of images in churches.
Third, the major Eucharistic theologies: Memorialism, Spiritual Presence, Sacramental Union, Consubstantiation, Transubstantiation, etc.
Fourth, the Eschatological positions: Historical Premillennialism, Dispensational Premillennialism, Postmillennialism, and Amillennialism.
Finally, and most importantly, the sufficiency of Scripture: to what extent does a denomination adhere to a commitment to Sola Scriptura, and what that commitment looks like when contrasted against "tradition." Are Scripture and Tradition equal (Catholicism)? Is Reason a third element to the equation (Anglicanism)? Is Scripture part of Tradition (Eastern Orthodoxy)? If Scripture is the only infallible authority, to what degree does a particular tradition dominate exegesis? Should the church's own historical interpretations be trusted over the study of present-day believers?
Additionally, it may be worthwhile to point out "churches" that present as Christian but fall outside the orthodox definition: Mormons, Jehovah's Witnesses, Seventh Day Adventists, etc.

Different denominations can be broke down into 2 main categories. Saved by works. (catholic and off shoots of it). Saved By Grace. (baptist, assembly of God, ect).
problem you run into now is that they both have watered down things so much that it has become a "g"od of love. Instead a "G"od who loves us enough to send Christ to die on the Cross to save us. Expecting us to REPENT and turn from our sins He forgives us of. Now they do not want to offend people so they say their god accepts everyone and do not bring up anything about changing your sinful lifestyles.

It's not complicated and the different denominations do not differ on salvation, or what would be termed "the essentials". He says as much in this video. The different denominations largely come from disagreement on governance and liturgy. They do not differ that your salvation is found in repenting of your sins and believing in Christ crucified. The only real split, as he once again addressed in the video, is between liberal theology and traditional theology. So you should ask yourself, does God's word need to be subjected to human reason? Or does human reason need to be subjected to God's word?
Salvation by grace: Do you accept that you are not a good person? Do you accept that your ways are evil? Do you accept that without God and the work Jesus did on the cross, that you are a child of wrath destined for hell?
Salvation through Christ alone: Do you believe that the blood of Jesus was enough to cover your sins-past, present, and future? Do you believe that salvation is found in no one else and that no one can come to the Father except through Christ?
The resurrection: Do you believe that Jesus Christ was resurrected? Do you believe that his resurrection is the promise and proof that he was who he said he was and that we too shall be resurrected in his name?
The deity of Christ: Do you believe that in the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God... and the Word became flesh and dwelt among us and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth? (John 1:1,14)
Monotheism: Do you believe that there is only one God, and that this God is the king eternal of the universe? That you shall not have any other gods before Him?
The Trinity: Do you accept that God is a three-in-one God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and that while they are distinct persons, and serve different roles, they are the same God?
The Gospel: (1 Corinthians 15:3-4) For I have brought to you as of first importance, what I also received, that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the scriptures, the he was buried, that he was raised on the third day, in accordance with the scriptures. Be wary of a false gospel (Galatians 1:8-9)
If all these questions are a yes, then just pick a church that believes, preaches, and teaches these things and you'll be good. Find a place that challenges you, where you experience growth, and a place where you feel the presence of God. Stay away from a church who's sermons are motivational speeches, never convict you of your sins, and never call for repentence and acceptance of Christ. Doesn't matter what the denomination is

There are differences in emphasis in terms of ideas and practices, which are largely due to historical disagreements. These days, many of the denominations or 'traditions' seek to learn from each other and often recognise the validity of each other. Catholic, Anglican, Lutheran etc all have great elements and are worth checking out. The important aspects for all of them are being part of a community, encountering Jesus and responding to that in your life/decisions/relationships with the wider world. A good place to start with the Bible would be the Gospel of Mark. It's clear, a good piece of literary prose and relatively short :)

I have a question maybe my comprehension of the Bible is incorrect but when I read the bible it said when people spoke in tongues that meant that they "spoke in other languages" not the weird noises I hear in church and nobody has any idea what they're saying but there should be someone to interpret what was spoken in "Tongues", I remember reading that when a person speaks in tongues there should be an interpreter to reveal what was spoken in "tongues" Yours truly Confused.

@@ebinesvthundupurackal7446 No, Speaking in tongues as was given to the apostles, as recorded in Acts, was when the person speaking would speak in a human language that they did not know. Ex: if a greek speaker began to speak in arabic without knowing arabic. Tongues is not an "angelic language." The sign and tongue gifts stopped at the end of the apostolic age as described in Hebrews 1:1-2. For argument sake let's say that the jibberish coming out a mans mouth is him speaking in tongues, and another man is there and interprets what he is saying, then if what he is saying is from God, then he is speaking new revelation from God and it has the exact same weight and authority of the written word of God, the Bible. The Bible is a closed canon of scripture, period. No new revelation will be given to man as Hebrews 1:1-2 says, and God has given us His word, the bible, to guide us until His return. God's word is completely inspired, inerrant, infallible, and sufficient.

    Top down view of Christianity:
    1. God is creator and sustainer of everything. Busy for millennia years without beginning or end. He created intelligent beings to populate heaven (where God calls home) and other worlds. Emotional beings capable of love, and high mental and moral capacity, all with the ability to think things through to arrive at their own opinions. The power of choice.
    2. The highest angel, Lucifer, the most beautiful, and regarded by all, closest to God except His own Son, Jesus. Only Jesus was closer to God than Lucifer. But Lucifer attributed his own perfection to himself instead of correctly attributing all to God. He foresaw a better existence for all the angels than the narrow views that God designed for them, and won 1/3 of them to his side. God put His foot down and all were given a chance to change sides. Once sufficient time had passed, those who chose rebellion were no longer given free rein of the universe, but were expelled to earth.
    3. Planet earth with life on it is a speed bump on the road from and to eternity. Adam and Eve were created with a built in moral guide when created in the image of God. They were warned about the danger that existed when getting too close to a certain tree. Satan was only permitted to tempt them when near that tree. But over time, they relaxed their thoughts on the matter, and Eve roamed over near that tree where a smallish and beautiful winged dragon sat in this tree and starting talking to Eve which piqued her imagination. She let her guard down to the point she was deceived into believing God had lied to her and was withholding what was in her best interest. So in one single act, she left her allegiance to her creator and worshiped the beast, but eating forbidden fruit. Power of choice in action.
    4. The wages of sin is death. Jesus came to this world as a man and died in our place to pay the price of sin so we could have the opportunity to live forever. Although salvation is a free gift, we must still qualify to receive it by close association with Christ and being born again to give up sin and hold tight to the Righteousness of Christ so that He May impute and impart His own righteousness to us.
    5. A war has been waging on this planet ever since Adam and Eve sinned. Jesus won the right to save us, but Lucifer still claims us all as his as long as we neglect to love and obey God and hold onto even a single unconfessed, unrepented of, un forgiven sin. One sin held onto, cherished and loved more than God will cause our downfall, become double minded and eventually backslide all the way down into the mess we came from.
    6. Once all cases have been decided either for or against God, Jesus returns for His people. Places Lucifer and his angels in confinement to this destroyed planet for 1000 years. Then they all return, every rebel resurrected, all see the Holy city, hundreds of miles square with all the saved inside of it. Then God the father reveals Himself and destructive fire from God rains on this planet, destroying everything on it for miles deep. The planet is recreated into a better place than it was originally created. This becomes God’s new home. Earth is now heaven. Where all the redeemed live with God the father and Jesus His Son forever.
    7. The speed bump has been passed. All creation throughout the galaxy has a greater understanding of God’s character and love for His people as never before. Love for Him will only get stronger throughout the unending ages. The redeemed are now ambassadors of God, representing Him in their travels throughout the universe to peoples who never experienced what we have experienced. Stories to tell. More people to love. Always growing. Never ending. Grace grace, marvelous grace.
    8. Satan (Lucifer the deceiver and destroyer) claims us all as his for our destruction. He has set up every conceivable lie and deception as traps for us. God allows this to happen, so that He can find a people, and get them ready for eternity. A people who will love Him forever. A people who can be trusted to never cause rebellion part 2. The book of Revelation talks about Babylon. Study Babylon from the old and New Testament and from history. You need a complete understanding of this old city and what Revelation says about it if you will avoid last day deceptions. Babylon is a melting pot of religions. Everything pagan. Everything Christian. We are commanded to “come out of Babylon” and not to partake of her sins. Babylon consists of every conceivable religion, denomination, sect, every range of idealism and thought that is not that which God specifies in the Bible, which is the Word of God. Every denomination interprets the Bible based on filters. They are based on what they want to believe and see only what they want to see. That is why there are so many denominations. You must study the Bible without all these filters and prejudices.

There will be exceptions to the above. Otherwise all would be black and white with no need of a judgement. The thief on the cross was an exception. Christians down through the ages who lived up to all the light they had at the time are exceptions. Those who were of honest, good moral character without the knowledge of Christ or the God of the Israelites down through the ages are another exception. But those who know to do right and don’t do it, or those who only do evil are lost.
But for those who know Jesus and have access to the Bible, a higher standard is before them and more is expected from them. They must trust only in Christ and never in themselves if they are to gain salvation. The Bible is clear. Sin will not enter heaven. All sin must be confessed and presented to God for genuine repentance and cleansing from it. We haven’t the power or ability. There is only power in the blood of Christ.

God tells us more than once that we are to be of one mind. Divisions in the body do not come from God. There is only ONE interpretation of Scripture...GOD'S! It is our responsibility to study and find out what that is. What does God say? What does God mean? Nowhere does Scripture teach infant baptism because baptism does not save.

brothacarllovesjesus The new covenant righteousness relies solely on faith in Jesus Christ, Jesus sends His Spirit to pour out His love in our hearts, we are to be the hands and feet of Jesus. If you love God and man you have fulfilled all the law. The new covenant law of love surpasses the Ten Commandments. Love says to look at a woman with lust in your heart is adultery, to think evil of a brother is murder, to tell the truth always oath not required. If you are trying to gain righteousness by following the mosaic law you have fallen from grace. I should have worded it differently but love for one another is the only point that the countless denominations could unify around. If people only go to heaven based on only what You or I believe, there won’t be very many in heaven. Unity will only be through God’s people exercising God’s love to one another.

Later, in other Epistles (letters) He will tell them in Corinthians "How to STAY SAVED"
In Galatians "How to LIVED SAVED" and in Ephesians , "How to GET OTHERS SAVED !"
But you ain't going to BE SAVED, STAY SAVED, LIVE SAVED, OR GET OTHERS SAVED.
Until you obey Acts 2:38-40 and GET SAVED YOURSELF.
And that takes the "Work of Faith"
What the reformers doctrine that has crept into Holiness wants to deny is accountability. - Jude 1:4
For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God. 12 So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.
      Romans 14:12
If a man has faith his works will prove it:
Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. 18 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: show me thy faith without thy works, and I will show thee my faith by my works.
      James 2:17, 18
Jesus Christ preached from the Ten Commandments telling us if we want to enter life (The question was how may I have eternal life).
And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments. 18 He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, 19 Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
      Matthew 19:17-19
So keeping the commandments will give you eternal life.
      Why?
Because Jesus Christ came not with Grace and Truth to destroy the Law and Prophets but to fulfill them. - Matthew 5:17
Keeping the commandments proves you love Jesus Christ - John 14:15
Your Faith in JESUS CHRIST is the reason you have Power to Keep the Commandments.
Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. 24 He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.
      John 14:23, 24
When you don't keep his commandments then you DON"T LOVE JESUS.
Why are you calling him Lord, Lord?
And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?
      Luke 6:46
Work out your own salvation by casting off the works of darkness, put on Jesus Christ and make no provision for the flesh - Romans 13:12-14
Come out of your sins and leave them alone.
Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee.
      John 5:14
For those who have not got saved yet.
Repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and you will receive the Holy Ghost. - Acts 2:38
To those who have already been to the water in baptism in the name of Jesus Christ.
BE SAVED, STAY SAVED, LIVE SAVED, AND HELP OTHERS TO GET SAVED, STAY SAVED AND LIVE SAVED.
Learn Christ Jesus - Matthew 11:29
and only speak Sound Doctrine for the Holy Scriptures.
But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine:
      Titus 2:1

Yes. There is supposed to be only one New Covenant Church of Jesus Christ. Paul warned against divisions (denominations) in chapter 1 of his first letter to the Corinthians. Take some time to look at the New Covenant fulfilled by Christ's blood at Calvary. The following should help you get started. I wish someone had given me this when I first became a believer. It makes the whole Bible a book about Christ.
      New Covenant Whole Gospel:
Let us now share the Old Testament Gospel found below with the whole world. On the road to Emmaus He said the Old Testament is about Him.
He is the very Word of God in John 1:1, 14.
      Awaken Church to this truth.
Jer 31:31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:
Jer 31:32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD:
Jer 31:33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.
Jer 31:34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.
Is the most important genealogy in the Bible found in Matthew 1:1 (Gal. 3:16)? Is God's Son the ultimate fulfillment of Israel (John 1:49)? Why has the modern Church done a pitiful job of sharing the Gospel with modern Orthodox Jews? Why would someone tell them they are God's chosen people and then fail to share the Gospel with them? Who is the seed of the woman promised in Genesis 3:15? Who is the "son" in Psalm 2? Who is the "suffering servant" of Isaiah 53? Who would fulfill the New Covenant promised in Jeremiah 31:31-34? Who would fulfill the timeline of Daniel chapter 9 before the second temple was destroyed? Why have we not heard this simple Old Testament Gospel preached on Christian television in the United States on a regular basis?
Once a person comes to understand the New Covenant promised to Israel and Judah in Jeremiah 31:31-34, which is found fulfilled by Christ during the first century in Hebrews 8:6-13, and Hebrews 10:16-18, and specifically applied to the Church in 2 Corinthians 3:6-8, and Hebrews 12:22-24, man-made Bible doctrines fall apart.
Let us now learn to preach the whole Gospel until He comes back. The King of Israel is risen from the dead! (John 1:49, Acts 2:36)
Watch the RUclips video “The New Covenant” by Bob George.
      ================
Which baptism is a part of the salvation process, based on what the Bible says?
      What did Peter say below?
Acts 11:15 And as I began to speak, the Holy Ghost fell on them, as on us at the beginning.
Acts 11:16 Then remembered I the word of the Lord, how that he said, John indeed baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost.
Based on Luke 3:16, and John 1:33, and Acts 11:15-16, the most important thing about the word "baptize" in the New Testament has nothing to do with water. The Holy Spirit is the master teacher promised to New Covenant believers in Jeremiah 31:34, and John 14:26, and is found fulfilled in Ephesians 1:13, and 1 John 2:27. Unfortunately, many modern Christians see water when they read the word "baptize" in the text. Based on the above, what is the one baptism of our faith found in the passage below? How many times is the word "Spirit" found in the passage, and how many times is the word "water" found in the passage?
Eph 4:1 I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,
      Eph 4:2 With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;
Eph 4:3 Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
      Eph 4:4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
Eph 4:5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism,
      “baptize” KJV
Mat_3:11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:
Mar_1:8 I indeed have baptized you with water: but he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost.
Luk_3:16 John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than I cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire:
      Joh_1:26 John answered them, saying, I baptize with water: but there standeth one among you, whom ye know not;
Joh_1:33 And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost.
1Co_1:17 For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.

      Look up the Orthodox Church.
You will find they claim to hold to the same faith without change from the beginning. They practice the same worship from the early church, even using hymns that are like 1800 years old. They follow the same practices of baptism, fasting, and prayer that are documented from the early church. And lastly, these are where you find the original churches and Christians mentioned in the Bible. For example, I go to a church who's leadership is found in Antioch and goes back in an unbroken line to its founding in the book of Acts. The same place where followers of Christ were first called Christians.
If anybody has a valid claim to just be "Christians" that is the first place to look.

Denominations are the result of men who do not hold under true leadership! They are those who always has a new word or psalm! The Apostle Paul/Sha'al/Sha'ul asked the question, "Is Christ Divided??" 1Cor chp 1....Then went on to say, "i'm glad I didnt baptize ANY OF YOU!" What does this mean? Denominationalism=Satanism...! Blessings! THERE ARE NO SUCH "ism's" or "ists" IN THE SCRIPTURES!

if jesus died for their sin then why some people still go to hell by the bible?
god gave numerous proofs but people choose to believe other people instead of god.god sent the first prophets to israel and they changed the torah then sent jesus pbuh and they made him a god even if the bible itself denies it if
The bible is a witness on its own changing by humans.
jesus is not God by the bible itself-
God is capable of everything right? lets assume he split himslef to three than jesus who is himslef God in flesh calls God my God Matthew 27:46 and worships God in Matthew 26:39 and even if you say that nonsense of even if jesus is God he dont make himslef equal to the father then the bible says God is not a man Numbers 23:19 and that jesus is a man 1 Timothy 2:5.
For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; the bible
god then sent mohamed pbuh with the quran where god gave clear proofs

Then He lifted Himself to heaven when it was smoke(reffering to primordial smoke) and said to it and to the earth, "Come willingly, or unwillingly!" They said, "We come willingly."
So He determined them as seven heavens(the word for hevean is the same for sky in arabic) in two days, and revealed its commandment in every heaven.' So he means seven skies inside the earth and each has its commandment plus god answers the question did he make the earth in six days:no because in the first 2 days there were no sky so no night and morning(a day) so god means a period using the word day.

When you steal the keys and you're not licensed to drive you will inevitably smash the auto which does not belong to you. So, to avoid accidents while riding in the car always let the rightful licensed owner do the driving. You will find his garage in Rome and his keys on the flag. You will find his license in the bible issued by the king. Who at the time of issuance gave the driver a new name, just to make it clear that the driver had passed his driving test. Avoid accidents and crimes against the king who owns the car, it is the king who passes out the keys, and the king who provides the insurance. The king's insurance policy states quite clearly His guarantee.
Joy rides using stolen keys never works out. You may not like the guy with the keys who is licensed to drive by the king, but it is not your car. It is the king's car. A falsified license may get you into a bar underage, but it will not get you out of jail after your car accident. When you go before the judge He will examine your credentials and notice the fake license, that alone will get you jail time. But you see, when you steal the judge's car and appear before His bench, well it will not go well for you. As for the people you lied to and got to ride along with you, well, at some point it is rather incumbent on them to notice your poor driving skills and begin to question even your literacy.
So, passengers, take notice of the driving and ask yourself if the guy really is licensed to operate the vehicle and if he is, why is it crashing all the time and why are his directions conflicting from moment to moment. Consider the garage in Rome and they keys on the flag and the license given by the owner. If you do that, you will avoid many troubles.
    Happy trails!

Exactly! If you really want to see where and when the organized church got totally off track from the gospel you have to study 4th Century Roman History. You have to believe in the Trinity to be saved because that was the law written by a Roman Emperor in 381 AD. All the Greco Roman philosophies and pagan syncretism occurring within the church and its doctrines matured and become the orthodox traditions during the 4th and 5th centuries. (315 AD to 425 AD). Orthodox religions, and most splinter sects springing out of them, became defenders of those tradition and doctrines. They have nothing more than a contradictory pretense to the gospel or the scriptures.

1 Corinthians 1:10 (KJV) Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.
2 Peter 1:20 (KJV) Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
Galatians 1:8 (KJV) But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
John 13:34-35 (KJV) A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

Meaning god prepared a body which is called son and went into that body to show us all as example how to live. God is not a man and never became man......his spirit was in the body he created. Jesus is THE FATHER, SON and HOLY GHOST!

Your name is not Jesus so that disproves your statement.
It's exactly like a cult but the people call it organized and religious so it's ok
Strange that the klan burns Christian symbols and claim to be Christian while no Christians challenge their faith?
And that symbol of torture that y'all like wearing and showing everywhere. ✝️
Do y'all realize it's a symbol of torture and death?

Reading historical accounts, I noticed that some denominations occurred when a group of new European converts came to North America and felt led to start a Church. That Church would grow, branch out into more Churches, and then become a denomination. The Church of the Nazarene was started by new Christians who converted under the preaching of John and Charles Wesley. I guess if they had today's technology back then it would have been a better coordinated effort.

    Do Catholics worship Mary?(No)
Is Mary a Queen in the Bible?(Yes)
Catholics do not worship Mary and never have!! We honor her because she is the mother of Jesus. God himself honored Mary, by finding her worthy to be the mother of His only son. God sent the angel Gabriel to Mary to tell her: ‘Hail, Mary, full of grace! The Lord is with you. Do not be afraid Mary, for you have found favor with God. Behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall name him Jesus.’ Mary said ‘Behold, I am the handmaid of the Lord. May it be done to me according to your word.’
The Hail Mary is in the Bible
Hail Mary full of Grace. Luke 1:28
The Lord is with thee. Luke 1:28
Blessed are though among women. Luke 1:42
And Blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus Luke 1:42
Holy Mary, mother of God. Luke 1:43
Pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. James 5:16
(God calls Mary Blessed and full of grace)
Leviticus 26:11-13 “ And I will make my abode among you, and my soul shall not abhor you. And I will walk among you, and will be your God, and you shall be my people. I am the LORD your God, who brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, that you should not be their slaves; and I have broken the bars of your yoke and made you walk erect.
Isaiah 9:6 - “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government will be upon his shoulder, and his name will be called "Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace."
This teaches that Jesus Christ is God so Mary is the Mother of God!
Jesus honored his Mother because he followed the Commandments. 1 Corinthians 11:1 “Be imitators of me, as I am of Christ”. Do you imitate Christ? Do you honor Mary, the Mother of God then?
In the Old Testament the mother’s in the Davidic Kingdom were always the queens, not the wives! (Who was that last King in the Davidic Line? Yes, Jesus!)
In Kings 2:19 “Then Bathsheba came to king Solomon, to speak to him for Adonias: and the king arose to meet her, and bowed to her, and sat down upon his throne: and a throne was set for the king’s mother, and she sat on his right hand.”
The Queen Mother has honor and influence with the king, but the king remains the final authority Jesus was the last King in the Davidic kingdom, his mother was his queen and this is what Catholics believe about Jesus, the King of Kings, and His mother Mary who he has “Crowned With 12 Stars” and made the “Queen of Heaven” in Rev 12:1-5 below.
1 “AND a great sign appeared in heaven: A woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars.
2 And being with child, she cried travailing in birth: and was in pain to be delivered.
3 And there was seen another sign in heaven. And behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns and on his heads seven diadems.
4 And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven and cast them to the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman who was ready to be delivered: that, when she should be delivered, he might devour her son.
5 And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with an iron rod. And her son was taken up to God and to his throne.”

Trevor Skopczynski My goodness you do not know your Bible at all!
Abraham’s called your father Gen. 17:5, Gen. 22:7, and John 8:56
Micahs called your father Judge 18:19
Paul is called your father 1Cor. 4:14-15
As far as Mary. Catholics pray to the Saints in Heaven to intercede for them. The Saints present God with these prayers Revelation 5:8.

Trevor S. For extra credit I’m including the writings of the Early Church fathers.
Early Church Fathers on Calling Priests Father
      .
Cyprian of Carthage epistle 2 par 1 (200-270 ad)
We have been informed by Crementius the sub-deacon, who came to us from you, that the blessed father Cyprian has for a certain reason withdrawn; "in doing which he acted quite rightly, because he is a person of eminence, and because a conflict is impending," which God has allowed in the world, for the sake of cooperating with His servants in their struggle against the adversary
Cyril of Jerusalem Catechetical Lecture 7 par 9 (315-386 ad)
And that thou mayest learn more exactly that in the Divine Scriptures it is not by any means the natural father only that is called father, hear what Paul says:--For though ye should have ten thousand tutors in Christ, yet have ye not many fathers: for in Christ Jesus I begat you through the Gospel. For Paul was father of the Corinthians, not by having begotten them after the flesh, but by having taught and begotten them again after the Spirit.
John Cassian Institutes Book 2 ch 3 (360-435 ad)
And so throughout the whole of Egypt and the Thebaid, where monasteries are not rounded at the fancy of every man who renounces the world, but through a succession of fathers and their traditions last even to the present day, or are rounded so to last, in these we have noticed that a prescribed system of prayers is observed in their evening assemblies and nocturnal vigils
      .
John Cassian Conference 1 ch 1 (360-435 ad)
WHEN I was in the desert of Scete, where are the most excellent monastic fathers and where all perfection flourishes, in company with the holy father Germanus (who had since the earliest days and commencement of our spiritual service been my closest companion both in the coenobium and in the desert
Augustine Letter from Jerome to Augustine (354-430 ad)
To his holy lord and most blessed father, Augustine, Jerome sends greetings.
      Augustine Letter 209 (354-430 ad)
To Caelestine, my lord most blessed, and holy father venerated with all due affection, Augustine sends greetings in the Lord
      1. First of all I congratulate you that our Lord God has, as we have heard, established you in the illustrious chair which you occupy without any division among His people. (Caelestine was made pope in 422 Augustine is writing in 423)
Gregory the Great Letters Book 14 letter 16 (540-604 ad)
To the most blessed and honourable lord, the holy father Pope Gregory, Felix lover of your Weal and Holiness.
Venerable Bede Ecclesiastical History of England Book 4 ch 32 (672-735 ad)
The brother having long laboured under this malady, when no human means availed to save his eye, but rather, it grew daily worse, on a sudden, through the grace of the mercy of God, it came to pass that he was cured by the relics of the holy father, Cuthbert. For when the brethren found his body uncorrupted, after having been many years buried, they took some part of the hair, to give, as relics, to friends who asked for them, or to show, in testimony of the miracle.

We all need to put down the rocks, for a moment. I think that some of the trouble between Catholics and Protestants on this issue comes from the difference in our vocabulary. We are separated from each other now by 5 centuries. We don't understand each other half the time. So we should start by looking at words. Protestants, like myself, understand worship to include several different things. Singing is worship. Contributing money is worship. Paying attention to the sermon is an act of worship. Praying is an act of worship. Studying the Bible is an act of worship. Some Protestants even talk about worshipping God with their whole lives. (That would take us into a meditation on Romans 12:1.) Catholics use terms in a much more specific sense. A lot of things that Protestants consider worship, Catholics probably would not. Catholics speak of venerating Mary. By venerating, they mean that they are showing honor or respect. When Catholics pray to Mary, they really mean that they are asking Mary to pray for them. We all agree that Christians can ask other Christians to pray for them. Moreover, consider the relationship of King Solomon to his Mother in 1 Kings 2:20. When Catholics refer to Mary as the Mother of God they are not saying that Mary is the mother of the Trinity, but rather that she is the mother of the God-Man, Jesus. This is their way of affirming that Jesus was God even before he was conceived in the womb. There was a Christological Heresy in the early church. Some asserted that Jesus did not become divine until his baptism. Those who advocated this position said that Mary was the Christotokos (the bearer of the anointed one). Those who advocated that Jesus was God prior to his conception in Mary's womb said that Mary was the Theotokos (the bearer of God). That is still the term in the Eastern Church. I like that word a lot better because it doesn't confuse people. Protestants are really weirded out by the Hail Mary. They need to know that most of the text of that prayer is found in Luke 1. Finally, when Catholics refer to Mary as the "Queen of Heaven" they need to know that Protestants immediately think of the pagan goddess referred to in Jeremiah 7:18 & 44:15-18. On the other hand. Protestants need to know that Catholics aren't thinking about that, they are just referencing a vision found in Revelation 12. Honestly, I wish Catholics would cut that "Queen of Heaven" stuff out because it sounds pagan and it's terrible for ecumenical dialogue! Badly chosen though this title may be, it's important that Protestants understand that Catholics are not talking about Astarte or Isis. If you are a Catholic, take the time to pray for your Protestant friends. If you are a Protestant, take the time to pray for your Catholic friends. If you are Orthodox, pray for both of us about 40 times each. And remember, whether you are Catholic, Protestant, or Orthodox we are all united in the knowledge that Jesus is Lord and that Epstein didn't kill himself.
