It's great you did this video❤️.and brings a smile to hear his voice again. My husband and I are heart broken and shocked to hear of Azas passing. My condolences to his kids and the brothers and family he rode with. Always looked forward to swapping rusty car parts and bullshit around a fire in gibbonsville hootenanny. Hi Paul, would you mind sharing what happened to Aza ? Watched a couple of his videos a couple years ago, and now I see this.
This thing is bad ass. And the 24s look surprisingly great on it.
I had a school mate do basically the samething with a old bus while we were in Tech School in Florida and lived it for the 18 months we were in school. His was smaller and he built removable steel legs as a platform for the front of the bus so he could detach it from his truck and drive the truck without taking the Camper everywhere. IF I had to do it all over again that's what I would do because he basically lived for nothing. He lived in it for 8 more months after school too when he got a job away from his home area. He lived at a State Park that had Bathroom. Shower and laundry faculities for like $6 a day, that's $180 a month..... that's so cheap it's nuts.
Would make an awesome concession trailer... corn dogs? But it is your build.. do it your way.

Like the old truck, made more practical and reliable plus should be reasonable on fuel, as opposed to say a flathead 6/8 it might have had originally, the camper will be good for you and the missus and kids?? put your bed over the rear tubs, storage underneath at the back, kids bed up front over the fifth wheel, plus you can and do use it for other things, good job.

42 is rare, everything between 41 and 47 was military. had a 42 Ford fire truck 1 1/2 ton. built for the Corp of engineers.

Paul I seen this and I'm building a tiny house in mine. I own the Covered Wagon. Me and you are friends on Facebook, I hope to do a video tour next week. You can see some on swarm. This guy give me the idea, I went to Florida and bought a 6 window b600 body and made a fifth wheel frame my truck is a 1929 Ford setting on a f450 chassie now with a Chevrolet 307 automatic
