Nice walk. Looks like a worthy addition. Great explanation of the coastal cutoff. Lires looks like a nice little town. Thanks, Dale. - Randy

Maybe someday, I have been back to walk the Camino with a friend from Leon to Finisterre. Currently hiking thru the black hills in South Dakota.

Is this the last of your videos, Dale.? How about one last look at Santiago and the Airport.? I suppose you'll be connecting in Madrid and then to the US.? Where are you flying to, specifically.? Would you show us a video of your hometown.? Thank you very much for the fantastic recordings along the way. ! I thoroughly enjoyed every step of the way.!

That's a nice town and would appear to be not very busy.

I have a Garmin watch for running and they are very nice. It tells you a load of data. I’m pretty sure the battery would last 8 hours of use throughout a day of trekking (active tracking using the GPS requires a lot of power) but It would need to be recharged every evening.

While maybe not as accurate, you could also use an app like UnderArmor “Map My Walk” that uses the GPS feature of your smart watch. I don’t believe you need a data connection, but I may be wrong.

Map my walk or hike interferes with the audio on my videos for some reason. I can’t use it if I’m making video.
