It’s a good feeling that when opinions I respect in Destiny basically agree with me. I made a build like this the other night with slight variation. I consider the grenade a flex spot and use shackle Nades for suspend (also means I can ratio two different champions) but Threadling Grenade seems to be pretty strong now. As for fragments, I run Transmutation for more tangles but I don’t have Generation on since the grenade isn’t big for me, I use Binding just to give me some more Resilience, but I can definitely swap to Generation if need be. My mods are focused on getting my melee back ASAP, with melee kickstart, stacks on stacks, and charged up, along with heavy handed for generation. As for weapons, I’d like to posit that aside from what you suggested, you are likely able to do well without them in endgame situations. For the day 1 raid for example, you may not need to use Tractor to take out a Knight that’s pushing you. Just show him you’re stronger in the sword logic with Synthoceps. I’m a big fan of this build and I’m very happy to see it catch on as fast as it did.
Been using this build a lot since the season dropped, idk if youve played risk of rain 2 but it feels like im playing as the loader with the grapple nades and melee attack

Please stop this mindset of things being "too good" or "busted". RUclipsrs like you have an actual impact on the game and the developers choices, and when you all unanimously say things like "broken" it ruins any potential for lower-skill players to even consider the showcased build or weapon due it getting nerfed before (or shortly-there-after) they ever had a chance to put it all together. Consider the disabled community, consider the family man, and above all, consider the console players....

melee generates orbs -> orbs regen melee [creates tangle] -> use grenade to swing around tangle for infinite melees -> throw tangle to regen melee -> repeat
