I used to play my outdoor speakers so loud at my pool that the neighbors called the cops. I bought 2 Encores and the bass is so deep, solid and clear that I am satisfied playing them at a lower overall volume and voila, no more visits from the po-po. Plus I can bring them anywhere.
Several people have reported getting the Encore for $149 at Walmart. My local stores don't even have it. Gemini is a really cheap-o Chinese brand and I doubt very seriously this speaker will last without having issues.
Damn 150$ is a killer deal I ended finding one for 250$ at my Walmart around black Friday times and they dropped it lower after and I bought one, that's to good a deal to pass up for sure, this gemini is definitely a cheap speaker compared to the encore it will be interesting to see how it holds up over time, not the best for 80$ not the worst either, at least it has volume but lacks severely in the bass

I always seen the Gemini speaker in Amazon and I always knew that it was like a fake cheap version of a jbl partybox encore essential like there so similar they have the same handle and the plastic panels look the same but the Gemini had another symbol on the sides and has the same lighting as a jbl partybox encore essential
I think it did just fine for its price range You're talking $80 and $400 $320 difference. Of course the sound on the JBL is way better but $320 better I don't know about that that's most people's own conclusion. But yeah it held up its own for its price range. Remember price range. But great job good video try something along its actual sound quality or something.
It's pretty dang good for 80$ for sure, probably honestly the best your going to get in that price range and it held its own really well for the price difference

Bass-wise, they both thump. However, I prefer the sound signature of the Gemini. Yeah, it has good bass, but those highs on the Gemini are uber crisp. Good clarity and sound separation. At this price point it's going to bite into a large portion of the market. Even if one can say they like the JBL more, how much more? $320 more??? If you are willing to pay that much more, you are probably a bit of a 'brand name freak.' lol.. jk. To each his own. Gemini wins this one for me. Cool review.. it's well done. Thx
The gemini is a good speaker and has good sound all around it just doesn't dig as deep as the encore and not a bass heavy but it does sound really good for 80$ you definitely can't go wrong

I got 2 encores at $75 each on a clearance sell at walmart about 2 months ago. I got 2 for $150 basically, and i have 4 wireless jbl mics too lol and these are the encores, not the essential crappy battery ones
@Jagistreviews yup, the very next day i went by to take a picture to show a friend of mine who wanted a pair, and they were completely gone, you couldn't even find them on the walmart website anymore

@GeorgeLungu618 it has the deepest and most intense bass out of all of them and it's very portable and has really good party lights to, also I like that I can hook a guitar up to it, it just has the best sound out of all of them in my opinion

i like the lights on the jbl better and its sounds better but for 80$ it dose sounds pretty good and lights are good

I got my two Encores from wallyworld for $179 each brand new with two cordless mics each included.

Gemini is a good speaker brand in my opinion but go with there gemini GRV-650L is way better and super bassy and awesome and still pretty cheap

I have myself a Encore and a friend has a action speaker trust me it’s shameful. My iPhone sounds more clear and has better bass range.
