The only police college is located in Wellington. You would have to move there for the 16-week training course. You will be paid a salary whilst you train.

A career in the NZ Police is not worth it. It is filled with wide spreading bullying, internal politics, nepotism/cronyism and those who can hardly read and write. NZ Police, sort your standards out and raise the bar higher.
