My last situationship was when I was 22 but somehow I got into one currently at 26 and once I realized, I said to myself "ah yeah, he doesn't value me or care about me. He not thinking about me so why am I still here?" and I broke it off yesterday and blocked him on everything. I refuse to let anyone make me feel worthless when God told me the opposite. I just got out of a situationship with a guy from SF and I'm in Ireland. He promised me the moon & the stars and I was foolish enough to believe him & fly over to see him in san Francisco twice!! He told me he didn't want to commit or speak about something serious, so I went on a double date with a friend and he got super jealous. He promised he'd fly over to see me in Ireland, but he told me something came up and now he can't. I felt so hurt and so I ended it because it's just been games and empathy promises.

I’m 37 and just broke off mine after a whole year. He started to become abusive and controlling…went thru my phone, and tried to hit me! The man told me “I feel like you’re my girlfriend, that’s why I get jealous” Im either your gf or not dude! It was an absolute NO for me. Don’t feel embarrassed at all love. Learn from the experience, heal yourself, get closer to God and prepare for a healthy committed relationship.
