Having international viewers (outside of Indonesia) definitely boost your adsense income, just like your "Cost of Living in Bali" video. While for us who speak bahasa Indonesia with the majority Indonesian viewers, the struggle is 10x higher lol. But I definitely enjoy your videos :)
0.70 USD per 1.000 views if you get mainly Indonesian audience, 4 USD per 1.000 views if you get worldwide audience, the hard reality of RUclips, thank you for your honesty and the quality of your content, cheers and congratulation on your progress !!!!

@@eddiebrock5408 i doubt it, i knew from discord a lot of people who live in us or jp easily spending 300$/months in game mobile so i think 1600$ its quite cheap for them, but if you live in Indonesia 300$ is more than enough for one person/months.

Really enjoy all the videos. I just wanted to say on this one - thanks so much for opening up on giving people a real time perspective on youtube, traveling and your income / expenses. This as you said is a great gauge for other people considering starting a channel which is I think is important. Not many youtubers are willing to do that. Your openness and natural ability to create videos without getting caught up should and should nots of content is great. I think for most or other people the question is initially how long would it take before the beginning of starting a channel -1-2-3 years before some kind of return, even if it's just in visitors - would it be. But I think that it's great to give people an insight and to balance new content creators.

To be frank, it is a great video to let people know your income and expenses. I do thought that that income might be much higher as the expenses for your travels in Indonesia is quite transparent, a thousand plus a month. I thought the income can knock off your expenses 🤣, but it is actually a good start at the first year.
Maintaining a youtube channel is almost the same like venturing a business, losses at the beginning but gain at the later date if the video remains high standard.
Anyway, it had been a high standard of travelling vlogs since I subscribe you. Keep up the good work and cheers.

like i said before, your youtube will be bigger if you stay in indonesia and stay humble of course. keep smiling in your every video. Just a suggestion, indonesian people are sometimes lazy to press the CC button. So i suggest trying to provide Indonesian subtitles in each of your videos. I see a lot of foreign youtubers doing it and they are getting bigger. Trust me alex.

Hey Alexander, that's great, it's building , it takes time. It covers some of your expenses. I think if you target a western audience, you'll get higher pay per views from western IP's. To me I think this would be more travel tip related.

yes, audio is a big portion of vlogs so make sure you have a good mic. But an iphone is just enough. It's all about storytelling and personality. Thats why people watch and subscribe

They said ads from indonesia is relatively cheaper than that in other countries. "The Cost of living in Bali" mostly viewed by foreigners, so u got more from it.
