Ugh I loved Noah so much more than Jude, I'm not even finished the book I never want to finish it xD... I love how Noah see's the world and seriously get so upset when it changes to Jude's Pov.
I am a 55 year old gay man and I totally agree with you. I have been waiting for a long time for a mainstream book that explains what it is like to fall in love as a gay teenager. 5 star rating
Whilst cooking dinner, I took little breaks to watch your video about I'll Give You the Sun. I had to go back to cooking and met my daughter in the kitchen, she looked at my face and asked ''What's wrong?''. I told her I was just thinking about Jude and Noah. I tried to explain what the book was about but it was too much of a spoiler. When you described how difficult it is to share the book without spoiling, I completely understood your frustration and delight. I loved this book.
I read the sky is everywhere years ago, and fell in love with it. I cannot WAIT TO read this!! And your great review made me even more excited to read it!!
Yes, I loved this book so so so so much! I really loved the characters and the writing and the plot and the everything! I especially loved how each perspective had it's own special thing; like Noah had his mind paintings and Jude had her bible superstitions. I get what you are saying about the picking a favorites thing. I actually ended up like Noah a bit more, maybe because of his artistic thinking. But I definitely didn't groan when I got to Jude's chapters, because they were equally as good! The book was just so amazing! I didn't even know she had another book though, so I really really really need to go read that now. cx
Oh my gosh, I'll give you the sun! I love it so far! I used to not want the POV to change to Jude, because I love Noah, but now Jude has this thing for Oscar so I love her POV too, but I prefer Noah because he isn't a noise bitch 😂😂 and Noahs views on the world are amazing and I love his insult 'asshats' 😂😂
Ahh I was hoping to get this for my holiday in about a week time cause it would been perfect for my flight from Europe to US but it comes out like a day after I return. :P Oh well, I did just purchase The Sky is Everywhere on my iPad so will be starting with that :)
AHHH! I love the cover change for The Sky is Everywhere!!!! I am so excited for this book. I can't wait to read it!!!! (There were a lot of exclamation points in this comment, that's a little obnoxious.)
Oh and also, I would go from one perspective to another and I would have a moment of lament for the perspective I was just reading. Then within moments I would be transported into the new perspective. Such a great story.
lol !! yes ! i felt resentful everytime it was the new perpective, but would get so hooked then feel the same way when that one had ended. I laughed , cried, and even blushed in some parts (when Noah and Brian get caught!!) LOVED IT
Oh my gosh, yes!!! From the first page I was totally transported into Noah. His fear, his energy, his world. Powerful writing. I loved this book. Great thing for me is that I have not read The Sky is Everywhere -- so that is something to look forward to as well as looking forward to September.
I'm not listening to the review because I want to experience the book without knowing too much, but I'm so envious that you have both books in your hands! AHHH I can't wait for I'll Give You the Sun!
I just finished reading this book. I liked it, but I thought that the pacing of plot had a few problems. I mean, in their final chapters everything was happening too fast and everything was being resolved too quickly. The whole time I thought that this book should have been a bit bigger and that Jude's chapters had more pages than Noah's. Mostly I was ok'ish with Oscar, I thought the author didn't develop enough his aspect of him seeking other girls and how Jude felt about it (I mean I know she really disliked that part, but then that part with her brother happens and then Oscar says nothing else happened with that girl and later on he shows up at her house... and you know what happened). And what was up with that girl Sophia, was he lying about her too?
I'm a Whitney! Woo! Now I'm going to have to read this book. *Throws it onto ever growing TBR pile* I always love seeing that you have a new video. =] Stay Awesome.

That is totally what I thought too and I shipped Noah and Brian 100% so I loved it when they did things together.
Lola same
I just finished I'll Give You The Sun and it's currently my favorite book of all time.

I hope that someday books with gay protagonists won't be a "genre" they'll just be young adult books or whatever genre they're actually in
This book is my bible
