Christopher Salinas Lets see...someone had a how to make a map for projection mapping tutorial on YT...there's was a little confusing. You basically have to put your projector in front of your house (important-projector has to be in the exact spot where you'll be using it to play your projected video on Halloween). Hook the projector up to your laptop, turn on Photoshop on your laptop and turn your projector on. Then anything showing on your laptop screen will be projecting in real time on your house. You can open a full blank Photoshop window on your laptop, and kinda start tracing your house (on your laptop using the line tool in PS). You look at your actual house to see the trace, because its being projected directly onto your house as you draw on your laptop - does that make sense?? 😁 Then you just save the house outline drawing as a JPEG-I did mine with white outlines against a black background. Then later on in Photoshop, using the main house drawing, you isolate the different parts of the house and save them as their own individual JPEGs, like Right Garage, Upper Left Window, Roof, etc. 😁
spiney99 I was using a short throw projector by Epson...one of the older ones! Im sorry cant remember but it was less than $200 on Ebay. I could probably get a much better projector, ours is less than 2000 lumens I think
Kal El I love this song! LOL haha. I mean, most people use Thriller, Moster Mash, or the Ghostbusters theme...I have to use something with a beat that I can set the different pops and transitions to. This was our house projection in 2014, music starts at around 1:44, ruclips.net/video/V63q0BSalgo/видео.html, you'd probably hate that song too (?) 😂
"How did you do this?" If you aren't reading the title of the video, what even made you decide to click on this video? There's also a description section underneath the video player, in case you were unaware!
Fabb God Just the one projector, it has to be short throw. Ours was less than $200 used on Ebay (Epson, an older model). You can buy projection videos or just download them or make your own. The transforming house part and the colored blocks (got cut off), I did in Photoshop using the very basic video animation method that you can use in PS. You do also need Photoshop and a video making program, I use Serif
This is one of the nicest displays I have ever seen, I really I love how they Incorporated the whole house.
This is the first one I've seen that I would truly like to see in person!
oooo i want this video for my projector where did you get it please share.. ty kj
How did u hide the projector
Can I ask how you mapped everything .. everything looks AMAZING !! Love the white outline and the transforming house !!

Sparkle and Cali TOYS do you think you could link that video please, I'm really trying to get this done on time but I'm kind of knew to all this
Really great! What type of projector are you using? How far do you have it from the house approx?
So awesome!! I love it! I will be in cali soon I would love to do a cool collab video.
Very nice. Started using projectors last year. Lots of compliments. What projector do you use to do that and what software do you use for mapping?
Cool! We'd like to film for television. Are you gonna do this again and where is this located?
what projector?
Great! How did you do this?
It could’ve been a lot better with scary sounds but it’s still great.
Nice video! I like it
Really nice job! Can I ask what Projector you are using? A white house really helps, but the projected image on the house looks great!

@@sparkleandcalitoys8651 Pretty impressive looking considering that "the experts" recommend no less than 2000 lumens. I think it looks fantastic!
looks awesome but you totally ruined it with the music wtf?

That is really cool! Like!
I like the B&W zombie scenes but the intro show sort of ruined the feel. But the rest was cool
