Great video and good explanation Thank you. I enjoyed how you thoroughly explained everything. My only criticisms would be is that this didn't seem like you scripted everything and you're working off of your memory and experience on the whim. Also if you're curious there are free editing apps even on mobile like "youcut" or others on pc i didn't mind that you didn't edit tho. If possible I'd enjoy watching these jrpg playthroughs or more explanation videos even for grandia 2 or others games I could recommend like "breath of fire 4". I recommend bof4 because it has a similar energy to grandia in nature of story telling. Thanks again for this video 😁 See you on part 2
Im a sucker for early grinding so usually have justin feena maxed before we go over the wall. Then its just lvling other characters after the fact. Using the exp bags to give them a boost
More hp str wit agi. And if you have max spell starts the speed and strength are at the best. But that happens at like lvl 30ish or whatever. But it is nice to get off big spells instantly on the gauge
@@itsroulette so 5 star burn is stronger than 1 star burnflame? In that case it would make sense to still use the lower spells. Btw. how do I gain SP? Just use skills and get more sp every time I level up a skill?
@@pandaman1331 now the remastered might be diff but the dmg was more yes. But also the dmg isnt giga huge of a difference and burn vs burnflame... burnflame is always gonna hit harder. As far as getting SP the best way is to farm the fruit at the tower of temptation. Sp is gained by levels but after a certain point you need the fruit of you want a lot
@@pandaman1331 yeah my favorite rpg of all time. Don't waste your fruit that give hard stats to the random party members. Sue is around a lot but not worth fruit imo. Mana eggs are abundant enough to use but I still dont give her anything but a few eggs
It still takes TOO long and the ToT here barely has ANY save points and is 12 floors of HELL at at least ONE monster has a FIXED 999 damage spell that hits the ENTIRE party IF it goes off Last time I played this one at the time the Temptation tower is first ACCESSIBLE I didn't even HAVE like a LV 20 to lv 25 party since unlike SKILL/SPELL exp party member exp is pretty much CRAP for the ENTIRE game.
Exp is actually VERY easy. The petrified forest has best exp in game killing alligators. And in the haunted mansion leveling water is super easy as well.
Well in this vid it wasnt too bad cuz I completed ToT first. By doing that you have the 2x exp to spells and weapons items but you could probably do all 4 characters in a couple days with breaks

Is there any benefit to maxing out every individual skill and spell?

@@itsroulette Alrighty. Thx for the explanation. I'm currently playing Grandia for the first time and I gotta say, I love it far more than I expected.
