    My kentia palm at the tips of the leaves look a little yellow and a little brown as well?

    • @MMMPlants
      @MMMPlants  5 месяцев назад

      Yellow and brown is due to too much of water and heat, it should be watered when soil is dry and avoid too much sun if possible

    Can I cut off the brown leaf from the stem thank you

  • @muramatafamily6521
    @muramatafamily6521 6 месяцев назад +1

    Cut off several stems from the base of a number of Kentia palms from a garden.
    Going to insert these stems into Soil.
    Do you think they'll root and grow?

    • @MMMPlants
      @MMMPlants  6 месяцев назад

      I am not really sure, depends if you cut from the base which has stock

    The Kentia is a beautiful palm and I don't have this one and have the arecas in my home, but my sister in law has a Kentia palm in her living room and it is a beautiful high palm and it looks very beautiful in the living room. And also with a Areca palm overwatering or to wet soil makes the leafs yellow

    • @MMMPlants
      @MMMPlants  Год назад +1

      Yes they do not like overwatering at all

    Hi! It's me again. I just got my kentia and parlor palms. I'm just wondering, do I need to repot them a bigger pot so that it will grow bigger? Won't it grow if it stays in it's small pot fr the nursery? Thank you😊

    • @MMMPlants
      @MMMPlants  2 года назад

      It really depends on the pot size and the plant size. You can leave it for few weeks and let it settle bit if you feel the pot size is smaller for the plant then you can probably repot to 1 size bigger pot but not too big pot else the roots wont be able to set easily in a much larger place!

      Yes, it leans towards the light. You can turn the plant towards light every few days 😊

    I'm intrigued by the stones under the pot as I separated some recently and I found the soil was really wet when it seemed dryer so I'm going to give this a try 👍
