Thanks doc!! Audio ducking is a silly term but it’s a software feature for audio engineers, typically. But more and more video telephony companies use this feature for noice cancellation. Such as Zoom, Google Meets or FaceTime. If you are on a Mac, then make sure you select “Normal” or “Wide Spectrum” on the video settings.
Dr. Kruse is also using the Blue Yeti voice software from the Ghub platform, from which he uses various filters to help with removing background noise and compression, but the settings are most likely not set quite right for the past few weeks, and that is also aggravated by the lag during livestreams. He's been very busy recently, but I'm sure he'll manage to find the right settings eventually! Please let him know if you have other audio tips!
@@FlynnaRUclips thanks for the extra context! Live streaming is fiddly and I appreciate Dr. Kruse’s contributions and do not want to be overly critical!
I love your videos, they have been so so very helpful to understand my ADHD as I was recently diagnosed. However, if possible I would love for your audio quality to be a little clearer, sometimes it's hard to make out what you're saying even with the video and my computer volume at max. Thank you!!
Max has been helping improve the quality of some of the older videos, like this one, but most of the videos from the first 18 months are of such poor audio quality I will probably need to retape them.
Thank you for everything you've done for us!!
Thanks doc 👍

@@FlynnaRUclips thanks Max.
I appreciate your taking the time to offer advice and explain things.

@@DrJohnKruse all good! The partial answer came to me mid stream and I just had to share the eureka moment 😄
