Very helpful videos from the RUclipsr. I bought other products based on the reviews. Very detailed and excellent explanation, covers all info. Looking at this product before purchase
The countertop units have to be plugged in to function. Whether you keep them connected to the power outlet after use is entirely up to you. There is no reason they have to be left connected to power.
Please let me know Aquarius waterpik waterflosser is better or Philips 7000 waterflosser with quad streamer tips?and quad streamer tips has advantage on other or not? Your idea is very important for us.
Hi Cyrus. We have a comparison video coming soon. I still prefer the Waterpik Aquarius overall. I like what Philips have done with the Quad Stream tip but I don't necessarily think it is a game changer for most people. We are not conducting clinical studies though to be able to compare the data. As such no independent data comparing the 2. This is just my thoughts having used both.
We won't be doing a comparison of these models I am afraid. We have done a comparison of the Sonicare 3000 vs the Aquarius - ruclips.net/video/iFmCdtU9JZA/видео.html - If you consider the 7000 just has a few more features. The Aquarius would still be our pick over the 7000.
I’ve noticed that with my waterpik , even if I use it and then floss afterwards, I still see plaque. Does the sonicare offer better cleaning? My end goal is to never have to floss again!
I would say you need to brush better. Use a Oral-B with floss Action head, with colgate regular and hold it 5 sec on each teeth. When I do that, I water floss and get nothing out of flossing after. The dentist is amazed.
There’s no need to floss afterward. Get a Phillips Sonicare and be done with it! They are quieter, too! Make sure to use an Oral B io round head electric toothbrush as well. You and your dentist will both be happy.
What model do you have? Have you got it set on a specific mode? Does it change or remain consistent at any point if you change nozzles/pressure settings etc.
Waterpick is better? Maybe if you want to wake up the whole family. My old WP is down, and the newer model of WP are very LIGHT and LOUD. I am still wondering what to do.
@@signedelacroix7213 I looked inside old WP-100, there is heavy transformer while in new WP-660 there light electronic board, probably they began to put it inside new WP-100 too
@@sevalmi8681 I bet you are right. Less parts. Cheaper parts. Lower cost. Lower chipping. Breakore often. Customer buy it again. Customer frustrated. Customer look for something else. Customer find something else.customer find it's same thing as waterpick. Customer has no choice. Sight.
The Aquarius is just noisy period. The reviewer here is measuring the noise level from a Sonicare with no water in it. It makes much more noise when the tank is empty which he is well aware of.
Interesting. In our testing (admittedly not scientific, just at home with a decibel meter), in operation, the Aquarius produces around 70 decibels of sound no matter the mode or the pressure setting chosen. The power flosser on the other hand produces around about 70 decibels only when set to the highest pressure level of 10. Set to level 1 and it is operating in the region of 52-54 decibels, nearly 20 less than the Aquarius. And yes, I had water in the units when testing.
This reviewer must work for waterpik. Waterpik is an awful product! Philips is superior in every way. Look at the heads you get. Listen to the sound, it’s much lower. An altogether better product! Spend a bit more money and you’ll be happy you did and so will your dentist.

Thanks for the comment and kind words. So pleased the videos helped you.
Been waiting for your review about the Oclean W10, hope you make a review about it soon!
I do like but it does make alit noise and it doesn’t really explain if it should be plugged in all the time or only when being used

Can you do a review for the 7000 vs the Aquarius or ion

The Aquarius would still be our pick over the 7000.
I would like to know how it compares to the Oral B / Braun Oxyjet
This is much better in our opinion. Fundamentally does the same job, but quality, control mechanisms etc we favour this.
@@ElectricTeeth I really appreciate your reply. I had not seen any comparisons between them. Thanks for the insight!

There is no evidence to suggest that the Sonicare is 'better' as such. Or what evidence that exists is limited.

On mine, the motor goes up and down, up and down in speed. Is it supposed to do that?
What model do you have? Have you got it set on a specific mode?
Does it change or remain consistent at any point if you change nozzles/pressure settings etc.
@@ElectricTeeth I have the 7000. It does the same thing on the clean and deep clean modes. I've only tried the regular pointed nozzle.
Hmm something doesn't sound right. Best contact Sonicare for further advice.
Mine stopped working after 30 seconds of using for first time 🙃
Just a lemon, this can happen with any product. Honestly not a big deal, just exchange it
Thanku😊
Can you also make a review about the Oclean W10? Heard it's a great product!
It is on our list to do at some point Jade.

That might be the case but we do lots of testing off camera. The footage is for demonstration purposes.

No-one cares about the colour.

I do. I want a dark colour
