Likewise, where is Part 2 please?
where is Part 2?? :-)
Not a very big solder iron to solder wire to the ends. Doesn’t seem like it would hold. I make my own whips from old cb fiberglass whips. You have to have enough power to get wire to hold.
Reminds me of the Terlin Outbacker...
I wonder if I can directly replace my now very old Terlin Outbacker with this?
Not sure of the tripod mount part... 73 DE W8LV BILL
@@w8lvradio the Bushcomm uses a 3/8-24 Base, which is pretty standard across the CB world and Hamsticks. Unfortunately the Terlins made in Australia, which uses the Australian standard commercial thread of 1/2” BSW (British standard whitworth). If youre looking into a replacement you'll have to go all the way.
Hope this helps. 73 de KN4GEI Shaofu
Look up the trxcommunications 392M HF antenna
I got one of those coils from TRX. They work pretty good once you find the right combination of taps for each band. You need one of those antenna anylizers. I get good signal reports using the 8 foot steel whip with a 500 watt amp on 75 meter band .
Hank, if I let my CNC lathe, or any lathe for that matter, become as rusty and as unkept as the one in the video, I would have my arse kicked!
DONNOT WEAR JEWELLERY OR LOOSE CLOTHES WHEN OPERATING, Guy Doing ALL :D
Guess He Wants That Big PayCheck, But Hey, COOL Video, Wonderfull To See How Its Made :)
That`s why those antenna`s suck so much
