    My husband got the Tim Holtz watercolor pencils (all three sets) from Amazon. When I gave him my wish list, they weren’t on the site so I didn’t put them on my list. So not only did he remember me wanting them but he found them where he wanted to do all his shopping! What a guy!!

      @@Kate37889 It could be that he really likes that scent on you! If you’re an Amazon shopper try making him a gift list. I did that with things from $10 - $350 (a KitchenAid mixer). It has helped because he didn’t have to keep asking what I wanted. In the past I could ask for something all year and the week before Christmas if I saw some little something and said I liked it, that item would be what I got, lol. Or maybe ask for gift cards, we tried that for a while too. Have a great new year!

    Back in 2002 I got my second set of Tombow markers and though I didn't use them that much, I ran through about 3 sets by 2009. I went ahead and purchased copics and now purchase refills on the ones I have. These gorgeous markers would be fun but am now on a limited income with bills so am happy to stay the course of buying refills as I go along. They have been a great investment. I do have and use my Distress Oxides as watercoloring and blending, etc. They are wonderful

    Hi Rebecca. Thank you for the video. I hope you can help me. I'm a brand new crafter and I'm going crazy trying to figure out what's the best and affordable cardstock for good quality greeting cards. So far my search has lead to most pitfalls that new makers make. I bought Neenah's "cardstock" printed on the package, but it was laserjet paper which I promptly returned. I feel as though I've been wasting my time and would like some advice from an experienced crafter. Thanks :)

    Great review. I do have the waffle flower silicone mat but I have the first one that came out and it has the lip on all 4 sides and I would like to get the one with the open side. I have been looking at the Ohuhu markers for awhile now. The Copic’s have gotten too expensive and I think they are too hard to maintain, at least for a novice. I do have the dome blenders and love them and I think the oxide inks are the best inks ever and I have tried a lot of others. I’ll have to check these products out on Amazon as so many of the other online stores are so often out of what I’m looking for. Thank you.

    Great informative video Rebecca. Because of your video using the OHUHU markers I bought the 120ct. I had an Amazon gift card from my b’day in October!!! I also purchased the 48 ct of pastel markers. I ordered them together last week and arrived yesterday. I will swatch them very soon. (I have Covid so under the weather since beginning of Nov😷🤦🏻‍♀️). I decided to purchase the OHUHU MARKERS because the Copics are so out of my range the last few yrs so I will keep what I have but use the OHUHU for the most part. Rebecca, can I ask you what you store your dome foam blenders and the tools. I have quite a few and need to organize them. I also just purchased 1 or 2 Simon Hurley Lunar Paste. I’m so excited to try. I do have 2 boxes of ARTEZA PENCILS - metallic & pastel and a box of 48 Real Brush Pen Markers. None of these have ever been taken out of the box😫🤦🏻‍♀️. Just how many markers does 1 person need? I don't see the point of buying different sets when they basically all do the same thing.

    • @zannido3125
      @zannido3125 Год назад +3

      She showed 3 different types of markers that work differently
      So no they do not basically do the same thing.
      1. Watercolor which is great for well watercolor and lettering. Watercolor can't be used on certain materials because it beads up and wipes off. It's not a permanent water proof (obviously) marker like the next two that can be used on anything but you can't use like watercolor paints.
      2. Acrylic paint pens, its paint in a marker
      3. Alcohol markers takes the streak out of coloring that water-based markers leave.
      Just because you don't get it doesn't mean others won't enjoy them.
      Not sure why this list bothered you so much you felt the need to criticize the choices.

      @Louise Jones so are pencils, crayons, paint, pastels.
      They all work differently.
      All I was saying is you may enjoy one type others might like options.
      As long as they have no starving kids and pay their bills which really isn't our business anyways (the bill paying part) there is no reason to judge their art or crafting style.
