Isn't it interesting how you *think* you don't like something, *until* you find the right one? Then, all of a sudden, it's included in a favorites video. 😆 Those colored pencils look incredible.
Good video. A suggestion is to get a rubber cement pick up. Everytime you use your fingers to remove masking fluid you deposit oil onto your paper. It may not seem like a big deal but it will affect the paper over time. and a good brush will give you a smooth application of Watercolor with no puddling at any point on the leaf. Unless you have too much water. Blot the belly of the brush before pressing on paper. That's where gravity pulls the water from. There will still be plenty to float your pigment. Beautiful work!
Hey Bobbie! Thanks for the tips and recs! I never even thought of using a rubber cement eraser for the resist! And yes i've been getting into brushes lately, do you have a favorite brand? I am enjoy using gouache and know synthetic is better for it but still just trying out different brands..
