CreateStudio Pro Review - Very good but there's a catch

- Create Studio Pro costs $67 and has some very advanced animation and motion graphics features. The included assets are good but you have to take out a subscription to use the best ones. There are integrations with Giphy, stock sites (like Unsplash) and I like the integration with an SVG provider. Create Studio Pro is ideal for animated social media videos and for whiteboard explainer videos. You can resize the canvas to square, landscape or portrait formats. Create Studio Pro is good for character animation.

$67 sounded great until I watched your video and realized I was going to have to pay extra to get access to the better content. Thanks for saving me from buying this on impulse. I don't want to get "nickle and dimed" to death every time I need a character, scene or animation that isn't included in the $67 package. 😏😒 Bummer . . . the program looks like it works great.

Very helpful! I just saw an ad for the $67 version. I knew there was a catch, but I will be much happier to know the catches so I don't keep discovering them all at once 0R discovering them one after another. You gave me the idea of strengths and weaknesses. Bravo! I may still purchase, but I won't feel like I was duped or scammed.

Great review video that made me slow down and not be too impulsive. I like the one-time cost and don't even mind paying a little extra per year but not if the base product is too basic. I stumbled onto CS because I was looking for Doodly alternatives. I am confused but I will watch more videos to get a better idea what is available.
There's also a new version of CS coming out soon. CS now has the hand drawing options (like Doodly). I think I covered this in the video? If you're after a Doodly alternative the best is videoscribe, but this has an annual cost. CS isn't as quick as Doodly or VideoScribe, but is probably the next best Doodly alternative after videoscribe. Hope that helps and thanks for commenting

Thanks for being so thorough. This changed my mind from being willing to purchase to not being willing. Reallusion gives tons of free assets (characters, clothing, props, animations) with no additional costs and monthly freebies for Cartoon Animator and iClone, and I can make my own characters in Character Creator. Of course there are marketplaces and the content store for buying avatars, clothes, props, animations, etc made by others and Reallusion, but what comes free is extensive.

As I see it, Cartoon Animator is in many ways another type of software, built for creating your own characters and animations, more similar to MOHO. For me CreateStudio is a good tool when you want to add some animations to for instance a PowerPoint presentation or as a complementary tool to Camtasia , Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro or Davinci Resolve.
A possible alternative to CreateStudio could be Vyond, which also is built around premade characters and animations.

Thanks for the elaborate introduction. One remark: on many assets you rightly mention that you have to pay for it. However, this gives the impression that you have to pay for each individual asset. That is not the case with the All Access Pass (AAP). With the AAP, you get ALL the assets, including the new ones that they post every month.
The nice thing about Create Studio Pro is that most paid-for assets are actually only time savers. The base one-time purchase fee gives you access to all the functionality already. So you can define everything yourself, but that requires (much) more work and it requires that you have the same creativity and skills, which I personally don't have 😂(I also don't have time).
Apologies, I thought I was clear that the 'all access pass' is required (and the best value way) to have access to all the assets.
@@Big-GVideo It was clear that the All Access Pass was required, but the sentence 'this is something you have to pay for' made it sometimes confusing if that 'pay for' was an extra payment on top of the (high value) AAP. As you mention, that isn't the case: All Access is indeed All Access..

CSPro is very good, but you definitely need the AAP to enable you to create engaging videos fast.
But this is no different to Camtasia, Movavi etc. To get the most out of them you need to have the additional assets. However, CSPro is brilliant, even with the base package, and still enable us to make great videos, just not nearly with as many cool features and characters etc.
One other thing to take note of: You need to add VAT to the cost of CSPro in the UK. This is an additional 20%!

You get a lot but not all. To get it all and the new stuff added you need to take out a subscription. I haven’t done this as I feel it costs too much for usage
@@Big-GVideo Thanks for your reply. Hm interesting. I ended up emailing them and they replied saying that because it's an interesting you get all of it. I might just use bulk downloaders for the free media sites instead of relying on an editor to give me access.

I was this close 👌to purchase the software, especially for the 3D characters and doodles. I already edit in Premiere Pro, so I just wanted to have an extra feature for my clients. For me, it’s not worth it… plus, in the ad I got it says: $67 and NOT PAY EXTRA FEES ANY MORE. So…. Weird. Thanks for your video.

Yes that's correct there is integrated free stock sites

would this be good for someone who wants to create kids videos? cartoon or claymation or animation? I need something simple to use. I don't mind paying if it is not too difficult and I don't have to use multiple softwares...

The movements in/out/during are part of the package. It's only assets and some of the newer templated features that aren't included
If you pay $200, use it for a year, and then cancel, can you still save and use the videos you built or do you lose access to those as well?
The videos made will stay with you, but I'm thinking you will not be able to rerender if you used premium assets. Does that help?
So, what's the cost per month or year if I want to sign up for everything CreateStudio 3.0 offers? In other words, I don't want to be "nickle and dimed" to death. I'd rather pay one fee than have to upgrade or purchase additional voices, backgrounds, music and characters. So I think the all access pass costs $249 per year, so $67 + $249, then $249 per year
@@Big-GVideo Actually, after digging around I found a link to a payment page listing an "annual option," that says I can sign up for the "All Access" plan for $199 for a one year subscription. @@Big-GVideo I just checked the price again today and it's still $199 for the "All Access" version. Plus, the 30-day money back guarantee applies to it as well. So, rather than be ham-stringed with the basic/standard version, users can get access to everything and if they don't like it get their money back. They just need to be sure and apply for the refund within the 30-day period.
Why is it that people always look at paying for software as such a bad thing, $200 would not get you one bad explainer video made for you, so to have it for a year for that price doesn't seem bad to me.

the thinks that are not in the pro version are the thinks that we find for free in davinci , and some thinks not like the 3d but almos t we can find it for free with others programs
