I have such a similar experience. At 14 I decided that I wanted my belly button pierced. At this point I already started to stretch my ears. I had my monroe done and my nose done at 13. I don’t know why I wanted it so bad. I think it was mainly because back then I was a bit of a bigger girl. I wanted it to prove a point maybe? That bigger girls could do it to? Either way it was a huge motivation for me to lose weight. I go into the piercing pallor already familiar with my piercer. He marks me up a little bit above my belly button making the piercing more surface. He explained that if he pierced it down further the ball would hide because I had extra fat. I agreed with him and he began the work. This is where I experienced something super similar to you. He puts those clamps on and begins to pierce me, getting stuck somewhere in the middle. I started screaming like a sailor. But I thought you know this is what happens when you pierce a chicken breast not a cutlet. Lmao! So he finally gets it through, I hear the same popping noise you did! Puts in thr jewelry. It was so painful for months I couldn’t wear high waisted leggings, it was giving off puss everyday and red and crusty. It had so many keloids as well. About a year after having it I changed the jewelry to a flat ball instead of a round one. Everything cleared up because the part of the ball that was rubbing against it wasn’t there anymore. I still have it now and have since lost about 80 pounds and it’s doing fine :)

I love hearing other people's stories about belly button piercings. I got mine when I was 19 for my birthday and it was super easy and painless for me...
but omg the healing process took WELL OVER a year!
I Adored it once it healed and never really changes the jewelry. I have a super bad allergy to a lot of metals.
Found out I was pregnant back in September and took it out sadly. I'm 23 and it had a good run and was time to say goodbye.
I WILL NOT get it done again because like i said that healing process was BRUTAL.
What I found out is that I never researched what belly piercings look like when you're pregnant...
It turns into a big line of this weird scar tissue/stretch mark dark looking thingy... not pretty... oh well.
I'm making a human. It's not the pretty process everyone likes to think. Lol.
Worth it but not super pretty all the time.

My nipples have been hell. When I got it done it wasn’t painful at all but oh lord afterwards. The initial bar was way too small for my nipple and gave me A LOT of trouble. But I recently changed them out myself 7-8 months after getting pierced and they’re doing so good. Not sore at all and not nearly as crusty. I almost took them out but I’m so glad I didn’t and just changed them. Not healed yet but so much better.

I am blessed with the best person to pierce me. I think your piercings depend on how good the person is doing them. I don’t have a ton of piercings but my lobes,my faith, & my helix. My daith was the most painful getting done but as far as healing it was great, my helix was a breeze getting done but hurt like hell healing

Oh my gosh my Medusa fucked my life up for months! One the 3rd day after I’d got it done it swelled up to at least 20 times it’s normal size and the lip ring he gave me had no room for swelling, the labret disc was imbedded half way in my lip! And from that day on every time I’d smile my lip would get stuck between the disk and the outside part of the jewelry. I had it for 2 years and to be honest it never healed. If I took it out for any reason, I took it out for 12 hours for a gymnastics meet and it closed up and I had to have it repeirced! The next morning!
But I loved it so much I wanted to keep it forever, but it started wearing away my gums on my top teeth so I had to retire it. I miss it everyday. #ripmedusa

my nasty experience was when i had my left daith pierced. the lady who has done the right side since; anyways, she went to put the needle in and i heard a popping sound from the cartiledge. she said that she was having trouble putting the needle through the bottom. it hurt so bad, i remember saying omg, this hurts so bad. aftern she finished, i remember her putting the jewelry in and leaving her shop. it healed fine, then a few months later i went back and had the right side done. the right side didnt hurt nearly as bad and healed amazingly.

I got mine done when I was 18 with my twin as support. In the waiting room I was terrified (my only proper piercing minus my ears) and this lady kept asking to skip in front of me, obviously I said no. As I was in getting pierced which was slightly off centre and the WORST pain I've ever felt she was eating chicken off the bone and it was dropping all over the floor. I was so sure I'd never get a tattoo and I got one less than a year later 😂 Watching your videos totally helped me gain the confidence to go and get my little piercing and my first tattoo, for sure many to come! Love you Bree xxx

yoo I had a horror belly button experience too. The first time the piercer pierced too deep and she had to do it again to get the jewellery through. Got it done twice in 10 minutes and she said "oh don't worry it wont hurt as much the second time!" that was not true

The piercing I was mostly nervous to get was my belly button, The most infected one was my tragus for 5 months, I'm proud of you for being really brave waiting with the needle in your belly for so long, at least loads of years have passed for you now :-)

  • @mackenziewylie9868
    @mackenziewylie9868 6 лет назад +1

Mine arent really horror stories, but here are my experiences...
My nose has, so far, probably been my least painful to get done, but the absolute WORST to heal. I had the worst bump of infection & pus. It wasn't even a keloid by that point anymore. So (even though I know you aren't supposed to) I used Hydrogen peroxide to hopefully get the infection out since it is used to dry things up (keep in mind I used everything. I used tea tree oil, sea salt spray, sea salt soaking. None of it worked). Luckily the infection went away after I used the hydrogen peroxide.
The worst to get done was definitely my belly button. I had gotten my nose pierced at the same time and I got it done first (shouldn't have). I don't have one of the types of belly buttons that have the thin skin on the top. Mine is just all meat. But he doesn't use a clamp & I've heard from a lot of places that the clamp is the worst part. But since he had already pierced my nose, the adrenalin was wearing off so I felt all the pain from him piercing my belly button.

I remembered getting my industrial done, the piercer was an inexperienced piercer and didn't really know how to gauge on where the 2nd piercing should go. So after piercing the 1st hole, he struggled with the position of the 2nd hole and keep sliding the needle in and out of the first piercing. IT WAS HELL. thankfully he quickly called in a more senior piercer to do it. and that was my first more 'out there' kind of piercing!! thankfully the piercing healed well (':

When i got both my nipples pierced was my worst! After he did the first one i was fine, he asked if i wanted a break but i told him to just do the second one. Which i think was my mistake, lol. After he did it i felt so sick. I was sweating, my ears were ringing, i was dizzy, and i started feeling extremely nauseous! I threw up right after and instantly felt better, hahahhaha. I think my body was in too much shock

  • @Abbsizzle

My "horror" story isn't really much of a horror story. Mostly cuz I brought some of it on myself. It was my belly button piercing too. (My mom said it was also pierced too deeply, and that's a factor too.)
The piercing was smooth; a sharp pinch, and then nothing else. It was the healing process that really got me.
I was pretty good with cleaning it at first, then I got lazy, and would go a few days without cleaning, or only clean it once or twice in a day. It was just such a hassle for me. This did not help. The days I went without cleaning really added up, and my piercing ended up getting infected. I realized this because, after being perfectly fine for about a year, it swelled up again, and was red, and so sore!!
I wasn't ready to give up though. I kept trying to help it heal. But after a few months past the year mark, I got so fed up with it, and just didn't want to mess with it anymore, so I just took it out, and let it close up. And let me tell you, that was the best thing I ever did for it, cuz it stopped hurting altogether, and was no longer a nuisance. I could finally move with my life.
There's a tiny little scar where it was, but tbh, I think it's pretty cute. It's like a memory of the good time it was in the beginning.
So, yeah. That's my "horror" story.

My tragus piercing was an absolute nightmare.... Apart from my lobes it was my second piercing. I had gotten my bellybutton pierced but it sadly rejected. My parents didn't want me to get another piercing after the rejection of the navel one and they also feared my face would paralyze from tragus piercing which is obviously a myth. I went with my best friend and the piercer got all ready and started to pierce my tragus. It was one of the most intense pains I had ever felt in my life. He got the needle through but when it came time to get the taper through, he couldn't. He literally pulled out the needle and end of the taper and I started bleeding all over. It was a lot of blood, it got everywhere. Then he had to spend 5 minutes trying to shove the piece of jewelry in my bloody tragus all while I was in complete agony...... That was a few years ago and my tragus is one of my favorite piercings but I am not sure I would get it redone if I had too.

I haven't had the worst piercing experience but healing wise my rook was a nightmare, it was so bad my whole ear was throbbing and gushing tons of bacteria and at the time we went on a trip, I envied my sister cos she got to swim in the pool while I had to sit and watch, the piercing gave me major migraines I had to take pain killers, but thankfully it healed perfectly after 4 long days of my life

My worst was my left second lobe piercing. This is back before I knew that piercing guns weren't okay, and I got it done with a gun. It would not stop getting infected so eventually I took it out and tried again after it healed. The second time getting it done the gun got stuck and the piercer said "oh, that's never happened before..." and basically had to push the earring really hard into my ear until it broke skin on the other side. Honestly it was awful but somehow it healed fine.

My anti-tragus was the worst to get done! It took forever for the needle to go through and it flares up all the time from my hair getting caught in the jewelry. I love that it’s so unique, though. :)

My Monroe was the absolute worst. The day after I got it my face started to swell so much the flat back of the piercing started to dig into my lip. I had to go back to the piercing place so get something bigger put in, and all they had was a large horseshoe barbell. The skin on the inside of my mouth ended up trying to grow around it (causing not one but TWO holes for the piercing on the inside) so I ended up taking it out barely a week after I got it done.

My first body piercing were my surface piercings on my hips. I too, brought my mom with me but I was over 21 I believe. Walk in to this sketchy business, it looked like a legit tattoo shop, but something just felt weird, however, we had driven for a couple hours and I was not leaving without piercings. The piercer took his sweet time piercing each side, and he got them crooked. They started to either migrate or reject, didn't wait to find out, but I had them for a few months when I noticed the redness wasn't going away and they were so sore! I took care of them properly. When I finally decided to take them out, I noticed that the bar was moved from its original spot, not where they got pierced. Stupid me just took them out and thankfully I never got an infection from it but there is still scar tissue that I can feel where the bars were, and nice, big, ugly scars from the entry/exit points.

I had a similar experience getting my daith done. The piercer got it through the bottom, but then could not push it the rest of the way through. There was so much blood, she had to stop and wipe it away because she couldn't see where the needle was supposed to come through. The piercer ended up having to use a tapered needle or something to get it through all the way. The jewelry went in fine, but then the ball would not screw on. This whole time, I was in so much pain the blood was pooling in my ear and running down my neck. She said she had never seen someone's daith bleed that much ever.

My nostril piercing was a nightmare. It was my first piercing other than my ears and my piercer had a license but did it out of her house because she just moved to town. She used to own a shop for years so i trusted her but i didn’t go alone. So she explained everything and how it went down and she was sterile and used new equipment but when she pierced my nose she couldnt get the jewelry in. The needle went in fine but she used a bone stud so it was really painful. After it went in i sat back to look at it and then sneezed it out. :( i had to get another bone stud forced in my fresh nose piercing. I bled everywhere and tears ran down and i never went back. The lady was nice but she was way too rough. Thank god my piercing is completely fine now.

  • @PaganChilis
    @PaganChilis 6 лет назад

I don't really have any crazy stories for any of my piercings (I have 7), but getting my left rook and lower right forward helix done were both extremely painful. For the forward helix, the piercer didn't tell me that a stud with a ball on the back would be more difficult to install, so she had to wedge her fingers behind my brand new piercing to screw on a 2 mm ball, which almost made me cry from pain. For the rook, the piercer (a different one--a good one, my regular) had trouble getting the needle through at the right angle, so she had to stop in the middle and readjust, which made my friend who was watching cringe, and push it the rest of the way through, which took some doing. Yikes. But it all turned out well, as the forward helix is healed, and the rook is well on its way!

my industrial was the worst pain wise, at least an 8.5 out of 10. Daith comes after for pain, and I have such small ears that I was surprised the woman who pierced me could fine a good spot to go through (heard that crunching sound too when it went through), and I bled like craaazy for my daith! I had snake bites, and my tragus done and those were probably my most painless ones (lips at least a 1.5 out of 10 and my tragus a 0 out of 10, didn’t feel a thing for that one). surprisingly my nipples weren’t too bad, just felt like someone gave them a good pinch for like a second or two.

Of all my piercings, the bellybutton was the worst. Getting the piercing itself wasn't bad, but it was so painful and swollen... Until it rejected at like 4 months to the day. When I got it redone the exact same thing happened, so I sadly I don't think I'm meant to have a bellybutton piercing. I'm still so sad about it. 😭

Yeah i ur supposed too go and have ur piercing done by someone thats trained. But whatever im 29 so what.. The thing that got me was where ur targus is so thick it was hard to push the needle all the way throw! I never bleed it was just like how u had ur belly button done! I had mine done at 16 and after a year and a half of care it rejected (like all of my piercings). My second time trying to get it done I did it simultaneously with my cartilage... big mistake!

My belly button was a relief. I had so much anxiety that when the needle went through it didn't hurt and I actually let go of my sisters hand. Lmao.

That sucks that your navel piercing was so painful. I feel like my most painful piercing I’ve had was my Monroe. I think becuz I got it pierced twice. (Took it out then wanted it back) and they had to go thru scarring.

I had that happen when I got my bottom navel piercing done! I have the standard top part of my navel done and wanted to get the bottom one as well and he took about 5 minutes (LITERALLY!) to get it in and was struggling the whole time. It just felt wrong in a way though like it wasnt supposed to be there, just an unnatural pain. My top piercing was quick and the pain was tolerable, nothing like that! Anyway, after about 5 months it still wasnt healing, the skin in between the balls was purple with pink around the area and always felt very dry and painful and I was like well I must be doing something wrong so I contacted a good tattoo/piercing shop in my area that was far away from my house I unfortunately wasnt able to go to and sent the girl photos of my piercing and she said that I should have NEVER been pierced there because I did NOT have the correct anatomy to support the bottom navel piercing! That actually made me feel irritated that the guy that pierced me didnt know that. I definitely think piercers need a lot more training because I hear more bad things happening with piercings than good.

My horror piercing experience out of ALL my god damn piercings have to be Medusa, which I’ve gotten redone about 3 times due to something always being wrong. 1st Time it was way to far to the right on the inside, outside was fine. 2nd time it was to far to the left on the inside, outside was fine & this recent time I got it done again, it’s abit crooked on the inside but it’s bearable. Funny story, yesterday I almost ate the bar because i lost the ball, due to the piercer not tightening it enough. 😓
My nipples which I’ve taken out because one was perfectly through my nipple but it was crooked and the right one was through my boob but was straight.

Ugh my conch was the worst, imagine getting a needle shoved slowly through the thickest part of your ear and the piercer asking every 8 seconds if your okay 🙄. The pain wasn't bad, it was just annoying how slow he was moving

This was my second piercing from this guy, as he did my nose which I do have an insanely small nostril and I have to cut my nose rings down still so I understood when he struggled with getting my jewelry to be the right size. It seemed like my nose healed really badly looking back on it but that was my first real piercing and I didn't know. I just didn't want to drive an hour to have my other piercer do it so decided to give him another shot. I decided to get my daith but I have a thick daith. When I asked if my daith was too thick cause I know some people can't get certain piercings he said "oh no we'll shove a needle through there"...uh... he also had the needle bent 90 degrees so a very harsh bend, also literally took 15 minutes to put the CBR in and when I changed my jewelry, after an INSANELY LONG and terrible healing experience dear GOD, it was not even a circle it was bent into more of a oval. Not to mention the LONGEST piercing EVER took 45 minutes plus! He just kind of seemed like he didn't know what he was doing and he had an APPRENTICE! Now looking back on all my piercing experiences the ones I had done at that shop had very long and difficult healing processes as compared to my other piercer.

My industrial piercing🙈 he put the needle through fine, then he stood back and went oh your glasses are gonna catch on that. So he takes the needle out, repierces it with the same now blunted needle and then takes about 10 minutes to put the jewellery in. Absolute bloodbath😂

When i got my top belly button piercing, it took my piercer 3 times yo adjust his clamps to make them tight enough to pull my skin and loosen it to put the needle through and when he pierced it, it hurt so bad

Have a piercing horror story! So to paint the picture I turned 16 and wanted my nose pierced so bad, it was my first big piercing since I only had one set of lobe piercings. It went so smoothly I couldn't have wished for a nicer piercing. So 2 months later I wanted a cartilage ear piercing, meaning my nose went so well I went back to the same shop. This piercing was the total opposite... A different person did it to my nose so this guy from the start I knew he didn't want to be there, he lazily placed the piercing and at that moment I should have ran but I'm a timid person so didn't.. He got the needle and as slow as he could pierced my ear.. I heard the back of my ear rip open.. It wasn't a clean piercing at all since he did it so slow.. He put in the jewellery and I was set free, blood was dipping from my ear literally and I was in so much pain I was shaking. Even worse the area bruised extremely bad which made healing even longer, however it never fully healed and I was forced to take it out. The area has now bounced back and this didn't put me off, I have had more lobe piercings and an eyebrow piercing since this experience and all have been great to have done and heal!

BreAnn I’m so glad I’m not the only one who had such a traumatizing piercing experience! The guy who did mine pierced too deep and couldn’t get the jewelry to track through my skin! So he fumbled with it for five minutes while I was bleeding and in so much pain. Finally he gave up and had to go get a longer barbell! So what did he have to do?! Basically re-shove the needle through my fucking belly button to track the longer barbell through!! Ugh literally took him 15 mins to pierce me! The piercer ended up being fired about two weeks later because he messed up multiple people’s piercings!
My belly button took TWO YEARS to heal fully and even if I change the ring it gets irritated.

I had "tough skin" on my belly button too. It felt like she was going in slow motion😂 Then when she shoved the jewelry in I remember her fucking yanking on the damn thing to get the balls screwed on tight. A couple days after it was so painful, I almost said fuck it and took it out. Thank god I stuck through it, I love it now!

My worst piercing experience was when a "friend" gave me an industrial piercing at her shop, I was pierced by her before so I trusted her.
Days went by and my piercing was sooo itchy it didn't let me sleep... days later I got a rash and went to a doctor who told me I got an allergic reaction.
I removed my piercing and treated the allergy... it healed fine. But nowadays I'm not friends with the piercer anymore, and she even blocked me on all her social media. LOL 😂

I got a cartilage piercing done once with a gun. And the skin ended up closing around the ear ring. I had to dig it out
