@@linezgames3893 Man you're taking me back 14 years. I don't really listen to this guy so much. K.L.I.M.A.X. is the only song I still have from him in my playlist.
@MikkasMusic Yeah Mikkas your incredible, I don't know how you didn't blow up years ago with these tunes, you make some of the best melodies I've ever heard :)
Mikkas and this genre is a true inspiration to many artists I guess. I do create techno and house music, but all in the party genre, which is unlike genres like this. BUT Mikkas and other artists in this genre has truly inspired me, even though my sound does not sound anything close to this. THIS IS THE ART OF TRANCE.
Your right. It all depends on the people. I have this theory. There are alot of factors that need to be taken into account when you look at a person's musical preference. Some factors include IQ score (supposedly Trance fans have a higher average IQ than any other genre) personality, previous musical preference, influence from peers, there are so many factors to consider. And since Trance is so complex, that is why I believe it has a smaller fan base than most other
Have you noticed though that many of the best trance songs have several similarities to classical music? For me a good trance has a melody backed up by many under-layers, key modulation, and embellishment. The melody being the core of the sound flow, the layering with other melodies and harmonization gives the song a 3-D feel to the point where I am almost inside the song and can feel the flow completely. I know a song is good when I break off into different tangents of the song to harmonize.
big genres like Hip-Hop, or Rock. Also a majority of Trance songs take getting used to. As opposed to other Genres, you here a song and are often instantly hooked. I think the reason why Trance has such a small community is because it requires many very specific factors that I mentioned above. And it seems that Trance is most popular in the Northern parts of Europe which happen to have very intelligent people, advanced social system so on and so forth.
Woot you actually replied :D Alright, well something that's been lost has been lost, you should focus on your new sick tracks instead I suppose ;) Cause I can still enjoy this even if it wasn't in high quality ^^ Love your unique sound man, keep it up
@Peteysweety yes classicaltrancelations by armada is solid evidence of that, simply because all trance melodys in it are classical sounds of the melodys its like trance and classical are made for each other. that is weird!! like.
No sorry, I made it a looong time ago and kinda lost the raw file along the way. It might be possible to beef it up a bit with some mastering if there is still some headroom left..
dude i know what u fikin mean im soooooo baked right now and when i look at it i think of that chaos person from a sonic gamme but if i look at it a differnt way it looks like a chick haha
Some of Tiesto's stuff is good, but a lot of his stuff is just not that good when you get down to it. GOA trance is a much purer form of trance I can really appreciate. No matter what you do though, some songs are just better than others.
I simply love that, that sound is so mysterious and great!
I LOVE the Mikkas! ^.^
I especially like their song, "Seventh Sunrise" and "Breaking the Silence." I am going to favorite this song too!
we are the few who have been blessed to know this song exists.
I forget how much I love this guy's music
As far I recall, he made this as a RIP-symbol to his grandfather.
Awesome tune. :)
This song is freakin amazing im speechless.
don't forget about the awesome tunes that he made with backslash! but mikkas solo is still epic
Is this same mikkas who was on porters robinsons album? the one from denmark
This and KLIMAX are Mikas' best songs. If he keeps making songs like these he'll definitely gain a lot more popularity.
what about his remix for dj splash?

How come every song I hear from you, IT keeps getting more epic? I'm hooked!
Seriously, amazing.
i like to keep underrated stuffs like this to myself. i dont want anyone else to get the same euphoric feeling this gives. i know, im a selfish b!tch
2019 still a banger
@MikkasMusic Yeah Mikkas your incredible, I don't know how you didn't blow up years ago with these tunes, you make some of the best melodies I've ever heard :)

@MikkasMusic Is this available to download anywhere in high quality? Been looking for ages :((
oh fuck besides the great music, im glad the highest rated comments were not about who disliked.....
excuse my ignorance but what does the "GOA" stand for?
It doesn't stand for anything. It's a place.

@calari0n why not both =O lol
Yea, they say Trance is an evolved form of classic music or something like that.
I had a blast between 0:00 and 9:44
Well there used to be 2 people in the Mikkas until one left.
Estou d'agree
i really don't care how popular someone is, quality over quanity

Do you realize how many shit songs are popular these days? quality does not equal popularity (though i cannot deny they are connected somewhat)
I want M 0:00 R E !
