I respect all types of music (with the exceptions of rap, hip-hop, country, whiny emo garbage, and 80s rock). I've grown up listening to Metal and I love it! One of my favorite bands is Devildriver, but on the other hand, I LOVE trance/techno/electronica/hardstyle! As long as it's not Happy Hardcore, I love it! :D

i think that they like it, they just havnt given it a shot yet. thats y they listen to all the club mixes of their rap songs. they are afraid of what everyone else will think of them, where if everyone just admited the liked it all at once, everyone would be happy!

I think they just listen to that because they don't try to experiment with different genres of music. They all just go with the mainstream music and to be honest, mainstream music sucks ass. Everybody trys to fit in way to much. Actually, the way i started liking trance music was because I was tired of being a follower and listening to that rap shit. And i've actually gotten a few of my friends to like trance music. Not by telling them to, but them actually listening to it. Trance is beautiful.
Watch it before you stereotype us Americans. All I have on my iPod is trance/techno/hardstyle/etc. True, lots of Americans like that rap stuff, but I, for one, think it shouldn't even qualify as music.
